A first class tour around Nottingham by Ade in Robin Hood character.
If you have only a short time in Nottingham this tour is unmissable. He covers the history of Nottingham city, as well as the sights. The legend of Robin Hood is only part of the experience. He gains access to the caves underneath pubs and brings you around the key sights. He knows his history well. He draws quite a bit of attention as he brings you through the city, and appears to be very personable and popular. But always keeps his focus and attention on his guests. We stopped for a great coffee mid way through the tour and ended the tour with a delicious English pub lunch.

The Robin Hood tour was definitely my favorite thing in Nottingham! It was an in-depth look at all periods of the city’s interesting history, given by a charismatic and knowledgeable guide. I particularly enjoyed the parts near St. Mary’s church and going underground in some of the city’s caves, located under a historic pub. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys history or is looking for a unique tour!

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon

The tour was highly entertaining and informative. Robin Hood delivered his ‘show’ with humour , wit and a deep knowledge of Nottingham’s history and Robin Hood. Event made extra special by Robin’s theatrical touch to the whole presentation . Finished off with a pint in The Trip to Jerusalem- a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I will be taking my group again.

Probably the best town/city tour I have ever experienced. A tremendous amount of information was given in a way that was totally riveting. The way in which questions were readily answered demonstrated a great depth of knowledge of the City. In addition, the group was entertained by "Robin's" highly developed sense of humour which kept them all in stitches. If you are visiting Nottingham (or even a resident) this tour is an absolute must.
The tour on 11 September of 35 people was part of a group visiting for the weekend.

A local business in Nottingham was looking to learn more about the city’s history and take a few hours out of the office. It’s team members came from other parts of the globe including Indian, Romania and the US so knew little about the city and its famous Robin Hood! Ezekiel Bones was highly recommended by Nottinghams Information Centre and he did not disappoint. Not only did he meet the team dressed looking the part of Robin Hood but his vast knowledge, history dating back centuries and story telling about the city (including Robin Hood) had the team gripped, humoured and curious. Ezekiel Bones took them around the Lace Market, Market Square onto the castle visiting a few watering holes and caves along the way. A great afternoon was had by all and it was a pleasure meeting this wonderful talented character.
Perfect for all ages and you won’t be disappointed.

100% recommend. It was a highly entertaining and informative tour around Nottingham, not only giving the history of Robin Hood but also the history of Nottingham. I had visited the castle that morning and learnt far more on this tour. It was very interesting to hear how the legend of Robin Hood developed over time, explained in a clear and engaging manner. It was quite something to follow Ezekiel dressed in an outstanding outfit around the busy streets of Nottingham and seeing people double take. The tour ended with an invite to join him and the rest of the group for a drink at the oldest inn in England and it's a great story to tell that I got to share a drink with Robin Hood. Please book this tour - even if you are local to Nottingham, guaranteed that you will learn something new.

The tour with Ade was the highlight of our visit to Nottingham. We were taken on a fascinating and entertaining walking tour around the streets of Nottingham, learning about the interesting history of the city whilst discovering places we would never have discovered on our own. Ade carefully and enthusiastically crafted the tour to suit the interests of the three generations of our family group, keeping us all enthralled throughout. Highly recommended for families of all ages!

What a tour! It has all what you would expect. It is firstly historic tour, also Robin Hood tour with explaining in many different ways who was or rather could have been Robin Hood. There is a sword dancing too. You will see all sort of things from lace warehouses (similar style to Manchester warehouses), origin of the city and story of Robin Hood, talk about some famous city brands, recommendations for food and drinks. This is also tour for families and Robin quite often check if everyone is OK with the content. Eventually will visit of the caves and end up in a tavern for a pint. I had to depart as for some family business although I wanted to stay for a beer with this great tour guide.
Good job Robin and thank you for nice afternoon.

We’ve been to Nottingham a million times and decided to finally do the Robin Hood tour with the awesome Ade! It was the first holiday since lockdowns and All the madness in the world and it was actually amazing. I’ve never met anyone who knows so much about the beautiful architecture, the history of the city, the legends and everything in between. We were treated to a trip around the city and time flew so quickly. I could have happily stayed for hours more. Starting at the cross keys. We went around the churches and back streets, being entertained with stories about Robin Hood, the origins of the legend and lots more. We also went into a cave and heard all about May Day celebrations and I even learned where certain phrases and terms in English Language came from. We heard all about the castle and the surrounding areas and finished up in the Olde Trip. We even had a few pints with Robin himself. The tour was awesome! The guide was super knowledgeable and quite handsome too! Honestly if you’re on the fence don’t be! Just do it! You’ll not regret it.
