It was great to see the boating Lake open again. We had a rowing boat and really enjoyed our exploration of the lake on the water. It's for an hour which was plenty of time. Service is friendly and the boats are good and clean. Give it a go.

We hired a rowing boat for an hour and had a lovely time on the lake - stunning views of the university buildings, and very easy to hire.

Highfields is really nice for a short trip out. The boating lake was great only £10 for an hour for 2 adults. There is also a children's park, and a coffee shop. Not sure when the toilet facilities will be opening up, but they were still closed a couple of weeks ago.

Kayaking was hard work (partner was looking at the views too much!). Lake and surrounding areas were nice to walk around, even gave a squirrel some bread out of my hand!
