Great pub
Aug 2021 • Friends
The Lord Roberts Pub is a fantastic pub along Broad Street my twin brother Stephen and I always look forward to visiting on any trip to Nottingham we take .
This is a fantastic pub ,the interior is so good ,a great looking serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings, nice wall art all beautifully lit ,tv's to enjoy the sun and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a fantastic pub.
We were here on a Tuesday evening, we ordered a pale ale each, these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in.
My pale ale was really good, on a roasting hot evening a totally refreshing brew, hoppy but not overhopped, a hint of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a delicate bitter finish, a classic British pale ale,it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew.
We really enjoyed our pale ale's in here before we moved on and when we are back in Nottingham again next year we are most certainly going to visit this pub again.
The Lord Roberts Pub is easy to locate along Broad Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
A great pub, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Nice atmosphere and good cocktails.
Pint prices were high.
Nice beer garden, looks like it has good potential yet 80% of the tables out here are at a unreasonable angle to put drinks on. And for the tables that are level, the ground is uneven which means these ones wobble a lot.
Definitely could do with decking or some benches designed for hills.

Good City Centre Pub.
Jul 2021 • Friends
The Lord Roberts is a good city centre pub which is named after a Field Marshall Lord Roberts who received the Victoria Cross in WW1.
A traditional pub with a well kept interior and lots of interesting fixtures throughout the whole pub's interior and superb seating options.
We came here while walking along this street and decided to go in here for a few beers and with no lockdown restriction's it was a pleasure to just go into a pub and order your beers at the bar.
When here we had a Shipyard Brewing Company Pale ale which where perfectly served and really well priced for a pub of this quality. This is a great pub and well worth a visit as the staff are friendly and the pub is in a great area of the city and is so easy to find from Pyrzm bus stop it's a short walk.
(This is my first review of the Lord Roberts).

Amazing pub, amazing staff!

What a brilliant pub to visit. The atmosphere is great and the staff and landlords are so friendly and welcoming not to mention Robert the cutest dog ever. They welcome everyone from all walks of life with open arms. Definitely the best pub in nottingham. It has such a 'local pub' feel to it and even the other customers qre the nicest friendliest people. They have done a brilliant job of sticking to government guidelines which I imagine must be tough. Hats off to you. What a brilliant place and will be back so much you will be sick of me xx

A fantastic pub in the heart of Hockley. A real hidden gem and not to be missed on a night out or early evening drinks. A great refurbishment that has bought it back to life. A welcoming team make sure everyone is abiding by COVID regulations. A good range of drinks available too.

One venue not to miss out on
Apr 2021 • Friends
The Lord Roberts is warm and welcoming venue, the landlord and staff are always there with a smile and genuine greeting. I have never had any issues or bad experiences on my visits.
The atmosphere and the people that drink here along with the staff. Make it worth going out, anyone who says anything to contrary is lying in my opinion. The best way to see is pop in and meet the landlord and his staff yourself.
There's a great beer garden for those that want to drink outside. When we are allowed to drink inside again, there's also a magical bar downstairs. They have live mic nights and performers, if there is a top 10? Then the Lord Roberts will be right up there in the top 1, 2 or 3.
Its a safe venue for all, if you like going out then drop by.

Best pub in town!
May 2021 • Friends
The Lord Roberts is a gem in the crown of Nottingham. A traditional pub tucked away in the Lace Market. It is an absolute delight to visit and meet friends for a drink. The outside seating area is heated, covered and fantastic to sit in.
Great choice of beers, wines and spirits too.
What really makes this the most welcoming place to have a drink is the landlord Craig and his fabulous team. Always friendly and efficient and always service with a smile.
If you are in town with friends, partners, on your own, don’t go home without popping into the Lord Roberts for a drink.
Cannot recommend highly enough!
