Camped in the field at the pub at Hurdlow (a great start, except that I was by the hedge, and the dawn chorus was deafening !) Left the bikes there to shuttle a car down to Cromford, then drove back to mount up. 12 or...More

Rode our bikes with friends. Tissington trail well maintained. One advantage would be to put on the footpath signs where they went too.

Rode 23 miles on the Tissington trail (down and back). Trail from Ashbourne is a long, gradual up hill grade but easily done. The bicycle rental shop at the Ashbourne end of the trail was found using Waze, and was reasonable and service was excellent....More

We found the 13-mile Tissington Trail not as enjoyable interesting as the 8.5-mile Monsal Trail. Cycle hire at both ends of the trail. Refreshments hut next to cycle hire at Ashbourne end, along with toilets. We parked at the Sports Centre end of Ashbourne Tunnel...More

So local and we walked it every day in alternating directions. Tissington was lovely as was the opposite direction. Yogi loved it.

Me and my three children went on the 'Cycles, Cotton & Cheese' tour organised by the Peak District National Park Bookings Portal. We all were taken for a glorious 12 mile cycle ride through part of the White Peak landscape and the Tissington Trail with...More

We decided to do this walk with our dog as it follows a disused railway line and is a easy walk mainly flat. We started the trail at Hartington and walked about two and a half miles before turning back the trail I believe is...More

We took our dog and went for a roughly 1 hour walk as we were going on to other walks, but lovely quiet route with cute mills and ducks in the river

Hadn't been on a bike in 30 years... MTBandB bike hire delivered our bikes to our Buxton address & happily drove us to the start of the Trail. (And collected us there later!) .. Mostly flat trail, occasional slight inclines, but the elctric bikes eased...More

Tissington Trail good, quite busy as was school holidays and lots of cuttings meant restricted views in earlier sections, but opens out nicely higher up. High Peak Trail even better, much quieter and breath-taking views almost all the way. Lots of places to stop for...More

We joined the trail at Tissington walking towards along a great wide track. Sadly we didn’t go very far so can’t help with info about a pub. Sorry.

Sorry, I don’t know for sure but you might like to check the hire centre. It’s at Parsley Hay. Just google it and it will give you all the details. It appears to hire what you want but best you check.
