Found the trail good for all ages, from children to grandparents. Plenty of places to top along the picturesque routes of the former railway lines, including some original features. Well maintained and safe for using any time of the year. You can choose where to...More

Having cycled the Tissington Trail a few weeks ago I thought I'd cover the High Peak. Another great ride with fantastic scenery. Managed the full 35 miles there and back but the 2.5 mile section from High Peak junction is particularly steep and had to...More

Trail gets five stars, food hatch not soo many, a little shabby & food wasn't that nice, obviously limited menu due to location and facilities, but food could have been a slightly better quality, given the price x

Walked this trail finding it catered for range of cyclists - including tandems and cycle buggies, and wheelchairs. Superb disabled access facility, with excellent car parking, toilets and refreshments at a number of locations like Parsley Hay. It does big have to be done in...More

Lots of lovely views, I paused on a bench to make a quick sketch. As it's a disused railway line it's pretty flat. Take own food and drink!

There were definitely buggies for small children...no idea about dogs. I would ring the cycle hire company and ask.
