Had a fabulous bespoke tour with Mark , doing a Pride & Prejudice location tour. Communication with Mark from the offfset was efficient and he went above & beyond to ensure our stay in the Peak District was as good as it could be. As well as an ongoing source of information regarding the history behind the places we visited, he also provided helpful information on other places to visit in Derbyshire as well as essential information such as good places to eat! Highly recommend this tour company & would definitely use them again.

What an amazing day we had, we were lucky enough on our tour not only to get the company of Mark but also his lovely wife Jackie. From pick up to drop off our day couldn't have been better, who would know it was possible to experience both tranquility and exhilaration within one tour. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable but more importantly than that he is incredibly personable. We saw some of the very best that the Peak District has to offer and if you are a fan of a Ploughman's lunch, Mark certainly knows where to take you. Cambridge Would highly recommend one of Mark's tours we just had such a brilliant day.

Mark was an excellent guide, reliable driver, and made our experience in the peaks unforgettable. We had a wonderful time seeing all of the Pride and Prejudice sites we could pack in during our three hour tour. A dream come true for my daughter!

Our review is a bit delayed, but we had the most wonderful day trip with Mark in August! We had only 1 day to visit up north but we were able to make it work with an early morning train from London to Chesterfield station where Mark was waiting for us. We were able to see Lyme Park, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House, and the cliffs all in one day! And we made it right on time for our 6pm train. Mark was a great driver and guide and let us visit at our own pace. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I am very proud of being born in Derbyshire despite leaving there for work 50+ years ago and will always have a craving for the beloved Peak District. We decided to revisit all my old haunts and take 2 friends with us and chose Mark Sweeney's company LOVEFORTHEHILLS to take us around. He picked us up at the Premier Inn Hotel in Chesterfield at 8.30 and because of his knowledge of the area, ensured that we all had a perfect day. We were so lucky to have great weather (although the photos may not indicate this!) - covered all the areas that I'd suggested, plus many that I didn't even know existed! Great coffee stops, a super lunch at a small pub and my downfall, a visit to what must be the best and most comprehensive award winning Cheese shop in UK located in the village of Hartington. There are people who like cheese and then there are cheese lovers and we are the latter. I staggered out of there with a very heavy bag (''Do watch the handles dear, I don't think that they will hold.'') and a receipt for £57.01 - Frank and I, two very happy bunnies. :) I have to comment on Mark's tolerance, courage and dogged persistence in coping with my two noisy elderly guests who as usual ignored my pleas to be quiet and behave and insisted on doing their very best to entertain the poor chap for 8 solid hours. (At least the jokes were clean) It's success is summed up by 90 year old Norah's comments the following day at breakfast, ''Wouldn't it be lovely if we could go back to this time yesterday morning and do it all again.'' One day Norah - one day Thanks so much from all of us Mark - you really are a gem - very much appreciated and highly recommended.
