Twelve in our group tried out the Sunday Driver deal via Golfbreaks.com. A round upon the Priestman course on the Sunday. Excellent course and very playable. Check in after golf followed by dinner in the Claret Jug golf bar. Special thanks to Carl who was in charge of operations and very professional in dealing with our large group of both... More

Booked the Sunday driver. 2 rounds of golf, dinner bed and breakfast. Hotel is very nice. 3 rolls in bacon and 3 coffees when we arrived was £25! Drink is expensive but probably no more than most 4 star hotels. Played the Hunting first. By far my favourite of the 2 courses although probably harder to score on but much... More

Stayed for 3 x nights at this hotel in a VIQ room overlooking the golf course. On check in was told that we needed a credit card. I only have a debit card and then was told we had to pay up front for the hotel and that we could not charge anything to the room and pay the bill... More

Stayed for one night BB and evening meal with two rounds of golf, both courses were in great condition with the hunting being our favorite. Hotel staff were excellent especially Chris from the pro shop who looked after 18 of us and made us feel very welcome. Impressed so much were already looking to book again soon!!!!

Both courses were a test of golf the Hunting was a bit stiffer than the priestman but both had great veiws and needed full concentration as there were plenty of trees and lakes to avoid . Very enjoyable whatever your handicap .

Challenging courses both Pristman and Hunter Details -Despite the course being full the10th hole had nobody at the cabin for drinks etc, some signage poor hotel rooms not serviced to high standard , shortage of shower gell etc Staff all outstanding in hotel. Golf meals menu same every night but staff upgraded us for final night to restaurant. I have... More

Just back from a weekend with friends golfing....24 of us. I realise that the golf courses had snow on Friday BUT that is no excuse for the condition of the greens on both courses. Some had that much sand on them it was like putting in a bunker, some had no sand....at least do all of them or none. All... More

Played the Priestman, although very wet it was still well kept, which was ok for a midweek break. Stayed overnight and played 9 holes of the Huntings, due to bad weather. Wish we had played Huntings 1st as this was by far in our opinion a better looking, better layout and better greens. Will definitely return for another 2 round... More

As above, faultless really. The courses are both of a very good standard. The Priestman is good although in April the greens were very bobbly. The Hunting was great and a real challenge, slow greens and the rough was very wet with the ball almost always plugging and difficult to find. It is very picturesque and I thoroughly enjoyed playing... More
