Not 100, not 500 but 1000 acres of Northumberland moorland and forest play home to this magnificent, elegant Edwardian mansion. That the interiors are almost as dramatic as the exterior says it all. This is very old world grandeur with a modern twist. Bask in the warmth of the reception you receive on arrival, dine at Hadrian's Brasserie, or at the Duke's Grill. Indulge with a vichy water spa treatment or just flop in the fantastic indoor pool. The great outdoors doesn’t get much greater. After a bracing country walk in the wilds, or round on our championship golf course, retire to the Claret Jug and the 19th Bar for a stiff brandy. Surely you deserve it ?

Spent 2 nights here with small children on a DBB rate. The family room was clean and spacious although a bit dated. The bathroom was clean and more modern. Comfy beds and nice extras like bottled water included free of charge. We ate in Hadrian's Brasserie which was excellent. Very good food and set menu choices, service was good and... More

Myself and my mum stayed her on the 30/03/16 until 02//04/16 as a birthday treat for myself. Positives: hotel is beautiful, staff very well mannered, helpful and hardworking especially Damien in Hadrian's Brasserie. Hotel room 131 was clean, warm, and beds were so comfortable. Food in Hadrian's Brassiere was of a very high standard at breakfast and evening meal. The... More

Had the best time been twice before both previous visits also brilliant! The pool and facilities and the area around is very relaxing and perfect for a break away! Rooms are lovely and very comfortable and more than bigger enough, also everything you could possibly need! The thing that stood out the most throughout all three stays is the attentiveness... More

Visited with another three couples for valentines, having visited and stayed s number of times before we were looking forward to the break, however this was short lived. Arrived around 14:30 and rooms were not ready so we all met in bar, as it was a special weekend we ordered Champagne from the wine list to be told it was... More

Me and my husband just back from a night dinner bed and breakfast and it was fantastic. The suite was massive with a spa bath and a massive comfy bed. Food was excellent. We got a deal that meant we'd have £26 pp allowance and it covered a very good 3 course meal. Gym was small but had everything you'd... More

Absolutely love staying at Slaley Hall with my husband. The staff are so helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and the gym, pool and spa are wonderful. The food is great in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet has a great choice of local foods to suit everyone. We especially love sitting in the Whiskey Snug at the... More

I attended slaley hall spa in October 2015 for my nieces 18th birthday along with two older family members. It was a fantastic day and Kelly and her team go above And beyond to make your stay a memorable one. The treatments are amazing and by far the best we have ever had, bearing in mind we attend numerous spas... More

I have just spent a spa weekend with my daughter. Great start first day, fantastic meal in the evening especially a specially made Fruit salad because all the other items had dairy products in. Second day not so great the lunch that was part of the package was truly awful. Stringy greens in the Greek salad, pasta with no pesto,... More
