Took a picnic away from the hussle and bussle, unfortunately lacking picnic tables so we had to sit in the car.

The walk along the riverbank is very peaceful, we always enjoy the scenery and seeing the river birds. There are some handy parking spots nearby. We had a picnic there on one of the benches.

We regularly head down to Tyne green either for a nice leisurely jog or for an evening walk. On a nice sunny day, the walk from Tyne green down the river and along the rail track is great.
