We went here for the Sunday evening service...What a lovely friendly experiance
Jul 2020
Although we haven't been for a while we still have very fond memories of our visit. The Reverend Steve Kelly and his wife Maggie are REALLY lovely people, the members of the congregation are very welcoming. I really do miss it!
If you are feeling low, If you want to get nearer to God, or if you are lonely, or even if you just need a friend..Then this is the place to go. Literally all are welcome.

12th century cruciform church in the heart of the city. Stunning architecture and amazing stroll around. Where churches look like castles.

Marvelous

Wonderful and peaceful place to be. You have benches to sit and gather your thoughts. Squirrels running by and you can feed them with nuts. Beautiful church with fascinating architecture.

Interesting Mix of Styles!
Aug 2019
The building was not open when we walked passed, but it is obviously a local parish church with some history (unfortunately, we could not see anything about it on the website but judging by what is online, the people have more important things to write).

The planted shoes on the railing wall suggest an interesting connection with local industry! The Norman Arch indicates that it is much older than most places around it.

Worth visiting if you are passing - and especially if you manage to get inside!

Lovely
Oct 2018
This is a town centre church and very pretty. The church is not open daily for the public but the grounds are a right of way. It is common for the grounds to be a meeting point for the street community but they are not a problem and should not put you off.

Nice but not open

Unfortunately we only saw this church from the outside. Although the sign said the church was open, it definitely wasn't.

Nice Church
Oct 2017 • Friends
A lovely old church set in the centre of Northampton, looks old and is well kept, the grounds are pleasant and the seats are a welcome place to sit and watch the world go by. The church wasn't open the day I was there, but will try again when next in Northampton.

Town centre
Oct 2017
Located in the town centre on St Giles Street this is a lovely example of a church.

Small grounds are a public right of ways with benches to enjoy the setting and watch the world go by.

At nigh time it is lit to show of its beauty. Worth visiting if in town.

Town centre church
Jun 2017
Be advised that this church is not always open but do not let that put you off visiting.

This is located at the end of St Giles Street and close to the busy Abington Street. The church is beautiful with some lovely stain glass windows. The grounds are small well kept and during the daytime is a popular walk though. On a lovely day is a great place to pass some time and do some 'people watching'.
