We came across this place online whilst researching potential venues for my son's birthday party and I'm so glad we did! It was amazing value for money and Mike, the instructor, was brilliant with the kids, even remembering all their names which impressed me. They spent lots of time climbing, getting to rotate around various different walls, and did some bouldering beforehand too as a warm up. We also included caving in the package which was particularly enjoyed. All in all it was brilliant. The only issue I had was getting the music to play loud enough in the party room to try to drown out the overexcited squeals of the boys as they tucked in to their scrummy pizza afterwards! Would definitely recommend.

Our visit was thoroughly enjoyed by our whole family, including one very anxious 12 year old! Our instructor Joss was very reassuring and encouraging, we all had a great time. We did the 1 hour taster session, none of us had climbed before so it gave us a good basic introduction, we tried 3 different variations of climbing and definitely feel that we got good value for money. It also gave us a good idea whether we would want to go again and learn more, we do!

I booked my children on a kids club holiday session, think it was approximately £15 per child. So far they've had an awesome time, the instructor is really good with them, the lady is calm, friendly and very encouraging.
The venue is clean and tidy, they serve food and drink (the coffee was good, Lavazza no less!). The bathroom facilities are ample, tgey were also clean and tidy.
There is plenty of on site parking as well.
I'll definitely be bringing my kids again, I might even have a go, if I can overcome my fear of heights 😆.

Thanks for the amazing review Matt, so happy to hear your kids enjoyed our holiday club! Best way to get over heights is to get up the wall and don't look down 😆 hope to see you up them soon!

My daughter had her 7th birthday party here earlier this year and it was amazing. The Pinnacle Climbing Centre came to my rescue when the sports party we had booked at another venue cancelled with 48 hours notice. They managed to quickly arrange a party for us with 16 children ranging in age from 6 to 12. The staff were so good with the children and not only did they help them with the climbing, they made it so much fun and I heard constant laughter from the kids. The instructors were really supportive and encouraging with the less confident children and by the end of the party one of the children who didn't even want to get in to a harness at the start made it up the high walls with a huge smile. In my daughter's words it was "the best party she has ever had". One of the parents who's child attended has already asked me for the website link to book her own daughter's party there next year. My daughter has since been back for the holiday camp with climbing, caving and abseiling, and loved it once again

This was our first visit to The Pinnacle Climbing Centre, the whole booking and checking in process was easy to do. The age group of our 4 people was 64, 14, 9 and 5 so a lot was required from our Instructor, Lewis. He did a great job of looking after everyone and setting the right challenges etc for each of them. Lewis was very friendly, helpful and professional. Everyone felt very safe in his care. He could see that the 5 year old was a little nervous so Lewis made sure he allowed him to gain his confidence at his own pace and also did some fun things with him too.

We visited the climbing centre last week and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The centre offers a variety of climbing areas suitable for all levels. The staff provided instructions very clearly and were very patient with us (we were a group of 7), they also ensured everyone had had a go at each section of the wall before moving to the next one. I would recommend this centre to anyone :)

Good pricing for what you are getting.
I chose a 1hr taster session for 2 of my friends and I, and it was £65.
Really fun. The instructor I had, Dave, was a great fellow. Very professional. Taught us well. We had fun with him.

Spent a great morning with my son at the Pinnacle Climbing Centre, Jack our instructor was very professional and filled us with confidence for the session on the big walls.
Our session was tailored perfectly to our current skill set, understanding and development.
We will be back soon to complete the lead climbing course.
Would highly recommend Pinnacle Climbing Centre for all levels of climbers.
All round excellent experience.

Had a taster session for 2 adults and 2 children. Cost £80 and was worth every penny. Instructor Will was great and explained everything we needed to know about safety etc. Both the girls absolutely loved it and Ella (age 6) made it to the top of the 12m wall after a few goes to build confidence. Ava (age 5) was more reticent but still managed a creditable 6 or 7m. Can't wait to go back and do my "competent climber" course which enables me to supervise the girls and we can climb without an instructor. Fabulous day out for everyone involved! Grandad. (Ian)

Took my 6 and 8yr old to a taster session today as they have begun to love climbing and wanted to have a go with their mum joining in. Both were at different levels of ability.
The 6yr old is normally pretty quick to give up and lose confidence. That wasn't the case today. Callum, our instructor was great and such a natural with both the kids that they trusted him and took onboard his encouragement very quickly. The 6yr old really pushed on as a result and has achieved so much in such a short session and the 8 yr old had a great time. So much so, they were trying to pin me down to a return visit before we left the building.
Thank you

Is there an anything for 3.5 years old?
The_Pinnacle_Centre
Northampton, UK1 contribution
Hey Marta,
Yes we do! We offer a taster session that is an hour long climbing session with an instructor where they will go on our main roped walls for at least 45 mins and then into our bouldering room for 15 mins where they will climb on our low level walls over crash mats.
An instructor will be with them at all times and we will provide all the equipment as well.
The cost of this session is £45 for two people so you can join in with your 3.5 year old.
If you would like to go ahead and book this session please give us a call on 01604 875996.
Many Thanks
Debbie

Is there a restriction for the number of people who can go and do?
Could one adult and 2 teenagers visit the Centre?
Thank you

Hi, no problem at all, we can actually have over 150 people doing activities at the same time. The best thing to do is give us a call on 01604 875 996 and we can sort the best thing for you and get it booked. As a guess, a taster session for an hour with an instructor looking after you for an hour is £45 for 2 people and then £15 for each extra person. That includes all the equipment you need. We hope to see you soon.

Is there on site parking available? If so, how much parking space is there?

Hi, there is generally plenty of free parking here at the centre. Sometimes at really busy times people need to park on the access road around to the centre which is also fine. We hope to see you soon.

Is this place suitable for adults thinking of going here for a date for me and my partner like the caving giving it a go but not sure if that activity will be childish we are 23 lol. Looking forthings to do together . Ive been before on the climbing only

Hi Kimberley, thanks for your message. Caving is really good fun, even for adults. I think for kids it’s more of a mental challenge and for adults more of a physical challenge. The Saints Rugby team have all made it through and loads of adults love it. However it is completely down to you as individuals. I would certainly say it’s worth a go for some fun one evening. Let us know when you want to come in. Thanks. The Pinnacle Team.
