Came on Easter weekend and was quite impressed, clean lots of people around lounging / playing / even bbq going on! Very family atmosphere and lovely day, it’s a large park and has an excellent play area for little ones. The aviary was a bit...More

Dogs off leads everywhere, men drinking, litter, so much has changed here. Will be giving this park a wide berth in future.

The land for Abington Park was bequeathed to the people of Northampton in 1892 by Lady Wantage. It is a park of two halves, the 'first park' is partly off of Christchurch Road and has bowling greens, tennis courts, a band stand (where bands play...More

Lovely large park with 'old fashioned' values. A free, well-curated museum, an aviary, a brilliant cafe and access to the best ice cream in the world (Gallone's)
