A lovely place for a walk but it does tend to get quite busy in the warm summer months. We love to stop off in the bird hides - especially the two storey treehouse style one with a ladder, because it’s perfect for cow spotting! The kids’ playground looks amazing and makes me wish I was 15 years younger.

Visited with family and had a fabulous day. Something to do for all. Play area was a massive hit with the 8 year old and allowed us to sit down with a coffee and rest our legs from all the walking!

What a great place for all ages. We went as a family with 3 kids of ages 10, 8 and 17months. They all had a great time. Plenty for them to do and really nice walking areas. When we go next time we will take the bikes It's just a shame that there's no baby changing facility.

A perfect balance of nature and play areas for young children, we enjoyed a picnic whilst going for a long walk around some of the park. I felt £5.80 for a days parking was cheap given you pay for nothing else inside. BBQ and visitor centre closed at the moment but the rangers office was helpful providing a map. Bike hire was busy today but would certainly cycle around next time.
