Would definitely recommend for lunch the choice of sandwiches are brilliant would also recommend the ploughman. Soooooo much food. Not sure about evening meal haven't been then but have been told you need to book so say no more.

very uncomferable seating area for eating .service slow .food below par .owner has no customer charm with little or no contact to his guests the whole pub needs a lot of investment to bring it up a reasble standard

Walked in to the village from a local camp site. Nice beer garden, but chilly so went inside. Food was brilliant - exactly what you want from a country pub - all home made, hearty portions, something for everyone (for the 5 of us anyway)....More
