I stopped at the Last Drop Inn for a drink. Although the pub was busy it wasn't crowded I was still able to get a table. The live music was excellent. Although I didn't eat here the food being served looked great.

We popped in here during a visit to York, never been before and just happened across it passing by. Lunchtime was upon us and we saw they did food. We were pleasantly surprised. I had a delicious sausage and mash and my partner had a chicken kiev. The food was well cooked, tasty, presented nicely and good value. When the... More

Love this place! Old fashioned pub, homely and always a warm welcome. Ale is always excellent and the food is basic but really high quality. Really great sausages sourced locally. Quiz nights and live music regularly - recommended.

colourful little pub where we enjoyed a welcome beer as we strolled around York. We enjoyed the colourful patron sitting by the door who greeted us and everyone as the arrived and left including us!

Very reasonably priced for extremely generous serving of well-cooked meat and variety of veggies. Chef even came out to check if we were enjoying our meal. One small criticism was no Yorkshire pudding. Otherwise highly recommended.

This is the third time we have had lunch at this central venue and we have never been disappointed. The lunchtime offer of 3 sausages, mash, veg & gravy with a choice of locally brewed beers in the city for just £7:95 goes down very well. The staff and chef are very obliging (you can mix the sausages if you... More

Went on a day trip to York and was looking for a nice pub for a meal. My friends and I ended up having a meal at The Last Drop. When I ordered the lasagne, I said I didn't want garlic bread so the chef came and asked me if potato wedges would be alright, to which I replied yes.... More

I am not into beers and ales so for me this wasn't the best bit of my trip but it was recommended to us so we gave it a visit. If you are into real ales and beers with a proper old pub feel then this is worth a visit.
