Unfortunately we don't get to York often enough, but this pub is an essential part of any trip. Good range of beers, Bradfield pale was fine for me, warm welcome and the small rooms create an atmosphere that encourage conversation. Look forward to next visit.
We stayed in York for a couple of days in April and stumbled across this little gem, i do love local unspoilt inns and this must be one of the best we have frequented.
