We walked from Fulford into the city, along the river. It is very popular with families, couples and cyclists. A good path surface ideal for prams, bicycles and wheelchairs.

This is a nice walk, especially if the sun is out - we stopped at the Millennium Bridge but it looked like you could go some way and not be disappointed

Overall the walk is pretty nice. I used it for an evening run. Some of the surface is a bit uneven which isn't great for running in the dark! The lanes are split for cyclists and walkers so I didn't find any issues there. A...More

Walk down to Millennium bridge and make sure to stop at Rowntrees Park, which is tranquil and beautiful, with a quite nice cafe too
