We didn't see any ghosts but did hear some entertaining tales from York's storied past. Some of the tales seemed a bit outrageous but when we fact-checked a couple of them, they checked out! To "Honest John"!

The guides put on a good performance and were very entertaining. There were a lot of horrific but sad stories on the history of York. The way they told the stories was very touching and filled with a lot of emotion.

The actors were great and really brought the stories to life but some parts felt a little forced and more appropriate for kids. The tour was advertised as 75 mins but was closer to 90 so had to miss the end to avoid missing out...More
