Rather expensive for the Christmas light display. My granddaughter of 4 years old was delighted with the lights but we were underwhelmed. It cost nearly £40 for two adults and a 4 year old so we thought that it was overpriced.

Museum Gardens is very pretty, a lot of squirrels were running around and their very cute. I saw an ancient abbey that had fallen but it showed history. It's free to go in but be aware that it's not always open at times.

We thought this was a lovely way to start Christmas. The first part was good with the decorated entrance leading to the 12 days of Christmas and the motion pictures but after that the walk around was rather mediocre especially for the price paid. Half...More

- really nice and neat place with lots of greenery - right in the city centre, near York Minster - good for walks and picknicks - sometimes they host events or exhibitions

A very lame display of festive lights. Over priced. The twelve days theme was a good idea but not well executed. It was poorly lit display boards. The best section was the projected story of the nutcracker. Other than that I couldn’t wait to get...More

The Christmas lights were nice. But simple... not too much light engineering or creativity in there. More of a 7pounds like lights instead of 15... All in all we had a good time. First time I roasted some marshmallows.

I bought 4 tickets, 2 as Xmas gifts for friends. Also, on my recommendation of previous events, 5 other friends joined us. I felt SO awful as the tickets weren't cheap and a total waste of money and our time. We attended a few nights...More

£15 for the Christmas lights was quite expensive bearing in mind it took just 45 minutes to see them all. The idea was clever - there just needed to be more of a wow factor.
