This is a lovely garden with a variety of things. Something for everyone. They had the owl experience on. Or you could visit the ruins or museums. Have a stroll through the gardens and explore or just have a picnic. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing scenery. Best of both worlds. Free or pay its worth it.

A lovely vast space for a Picnic or for Children to play. Slightly overrun but nice, all the same. Very good.

Volunteers are working hard and a lot of trial and error in their planting. Nice that they stopped for a chat.

Beautiful gardens with lots of interesting features to explore. A great place for a picnic or just to wander around. A shame the peacocks have gone!

The ruins of the St Mary's Abbey dominate the Park with St Leonard's Hospital and the Hospitium representing the Medieval. The Yorkshire Museum is situated in this park just off Lendal Bridge and close to Scarborough Bridge on the other side of the river to the National Railway Museum. There is also an observatory. The Park is well maintained with... More

There's not only views of beautiful gardens and the ruins but also of the river. It's a little piece of heaven in a busy... More
