Very well looked after gardens next to the river, a great place to sit and relax and look at the flowers and the wild life. Plenty of birds and of course the squirrels which are very tame. There was even a 'Birds of Prey' demonstration...More

This was a lovely and peaceful place to stop and rest. Really liked the floral arrangements with plenty of seating. There are a few ruins which are nicely situated within the landscape where numerous squirrels and birds reside.

What can I really say. It is a well kept public space. Nice to walk through or maybe sit and have a cup of tea on a sunny day.

Went here early and found them to be quite interesting. Apart from birds and squirrels there were lots of plants flowers and places to sit. Nice place to take a break and it was free of charge.

We had been visiting York on a warm Sunny day and needed somewhere to sit down for a while. Plenty of benches, overlooking the river. Also plenty of grass to sit on. Fairly busy due to good weather, well tended no litter
