We really liked this walk. My children are 6 & 9 and they had a great time too. The fella who did the walk made the stories a little less scary by making the whole thing so fun. He was funny & enigmatic. I would...More

We went on request of our kids, and I'm glad we did! It's not a experience for hardened ghost hunters, but my 10 year old loved it! (And it didn't give him nightmares!) We were taken on a walk of York, and shown some sites...More

Myself and my daughter went on this tour the first night of our stay and she begged to go back on it the second night which we did. Good story telling and the group got to participate which made it alot of fun to watch,...More

During a weekend stay in York, my sister and I decided to go on a ghost tour as we have done in the past over the years. Whatever you do, do not choose this particular walk! The group was incredibly large, so the guide spent...More

Halloween - and two hundred or so people half-filled Minster Yard for this recent addition to York's ghost walk scene. I was attending with a friend. It started reasonably well. The cash was collected by a handful of assistants and was quickly whisked away -...More

I have wanted to do a Ghost walk around York for ages, Halloween seemed an ideal opportunity, after waiting in a rather large rowdy crowed the tour began and was a genuine disappointment from start to finish, the guide was actually rather pleasant enough and...More

A mix of both. There are plenty of ghost stories but also a fair amount of history as the two go together.
