My partner went hear with his friends and family for his Stag-Do.
It was a fantastic day out where we enjoyed a full day of activities, we booked the whole lot from 10:00am to 15:30pm
All staff where fantastic and took part in enjoying the day with us, I highly recommend doing a full day, even if you do one or two activities its still fun and worth it, but the full day of activities is the better option and cheaper way lol.
Will definitely return again, thanks again for a fantastic day to remember my Stag-Do

Visited today for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed. We did the AAA package and we were nicely welcomed by our instructor Joe. Each activity was so much fun and we got given a good safety briefing for each one and we were made to feel safe each time.
Even though we were only there for 2 hours it felt like we got given so much time and goes with each activity which was great, although there is a point where you could do it for so much longer.
Joe was amazing, we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He explained everything so well and was very helpful, he didn’t make you feel bad or useless if you weren’t able to do something, he just have tips of ways for you to improve. The best part was the banter and laughs he gave us it just made it so much fun. We are really hoping to come back and have a go at some of the other activities you have to offer. Would highly recommend to anyone even if you’ve never done anything like it before.

Kirkstall Precision (x30 people) booked a team building activity day with Yorkshire activity Centre. we arrived at 9.30am and for the whole day it was packed with fun & laughter. Ben and the team at YAC organised such a fantastic day they really encouraged team work and relationship building.
I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Went last week, the place isn’t well signposted and lead my partners parents to get lost. The man running it was extremely rude about the situation and spoilt what should have been a great experience. When we did get going it was a pretty slow session where I spent £120 and we each threw an axe 10 times in total..
This week we were booked to go crossbow shooting and turned up at 10am missing the brief due to a few issues however the email didn’t state needing to be there early as I had booked it directly with someone.
The guy running the session was patronising and rude in his was of speaking with me and had no alternative option. At no point would I ever recommend anyone to go here unless the person running it was to change. I’m sure it would have been a great activity otherwise.

Hi, what a very disappointing and dishonest review. Regarding your first booking for the Axe Throwing, you got the time wrong as you hadn’t read your booking confirmation. The instructor actually stopped another session to accommodate you and your error so you could still take part in the session. The other customers on your session were very happy with their activity as well as all our customers that visit us. Your attitude towards the instructor was picked up on by the other customers. The instructor you’re referring to is the most polite and friendly person and given the fact he did accommodate you when he didn’t have to just proves that. Other customers praised him for his patience.
Had you have read your booking confirmation, you would have read the directions and seen there is a map and our full address. There is also a large banner situated off the main road.
In regards to your comment about only having 10 throws, I have been assured this wasn’t the case and I’m happy with the instructors version of how he delivered the session.
Regarding your Crossbow Shooting session, you said in an email that you didn’t have time to attend for your original booking so asked to change it. As stated in our Terms and Conditions we wouldn’t normally refund or transfer the booking however, on this occasion we did. Again, we didn’t have to do that. Again, you didn’t read your booking confirmation that states to arrive 20 minutes before your allocated time, you arrived late and the instructor wasn’t able to explain the safety brief again as this would have affected other customers who arrived early, as advised, for their activity. On this occasion, you was refused to take part and this is clearly stated in your booking confirmation that if you arrive late it could lead to refusal of the activity and is non refundable. The same instructor was taking the Crossbow session and I can guarantee he wasn’t patronising in anyway.
I strongly believe that down to your own error, you have taken that as a negative on our company and have insulted a great member of staff who goes above and beyond to ensure all customers enjoy their experience with us. That same instructor has the most reviews from customers and they are all outstanding.

Axe throwing was very fun, Andy was brilliant, that man needs paying more money. Good day out with friends. Will be going back to do more of the other activities available. Thanks for a great time ANDY.

We went to the high wires ropes over at the web (creepy crawlies) today. It was fantastic. Josh and Joe the instructors were great, there was hand sanitizer on arrival, socially distanced with limited numbers on the equipment. The kids said it was so much fun and the best day ever!! We had a 10yr old and 8yr old and 33yr old and all 3 enjoyed it. We were lucky with the weather aswell. Definitely booking to go again. We usually do an indoor clip and climb place in either selby or Leeds and the kids said they would much rather go here. Bonus it's 5 mins away for us. We can't wait to return!! Thank so much.

We used Yorkshire Activity Centre for a team building session for 16, with Archery, Axe Throwing and Team Tasks for half a day. The guys were great, really good with lots of different abilities, making each activity fun and engaging. Really good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Thank you so much Ian, really really enjoyed that. AAA package was fantastic, well worth it. 5*****! Great demonstrations and you made us feel so at ease even though I was rubbish :)) Axe throwing, air rifle shooting and archery on a Sunday afternoon in Yorkshire was just perfect. First time visit for us and after that experience we would happily return anytime and highly recommended.

I took my husband for his birthday, we did 30 mins quad biking and 1 hr axe throwing as a package for £50 each. Bargain! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The gent who was our instructor (I think Ben) was wonderful, he explained everything and made sure that our safety was put first. I cannot fault the place or the staff. Cafe and toilets available on site.

Group of 7 came for a stag do, and tried the quad bikes, crossbows and axe throwing, and had a brilliant time. Everyone has great fun, the downtime between events was minimal and the cafe most appreciated. As the organiser I found them easy to get hold of and friendly and organised to deal with, an absolute pleasure. Shout out to the crossbow/axe instructor in particular - a top bloke who looked after us well and knew what he was doing. Well happy that I chose this place for my best mates stag, now looking for an excuse to return. Many thanks!!
