My son and I climbed to the top to enjoy the view. Worth a visit if you are fit, happy with confined spaces and don't mind heights!

Nice Lighthouse at the end of Harbour pier. From the 199 steps, the view of the Lighthouse is really amazing! A lot of shops, cafe's and restaurants you will pass by when you walk to the Lighthouse.

So pleased to see the lighthouse open to the public - can't be beaten for £1.50 - some of the best views of Whitby. We had great weather and thoroughly enjoyed the climb and the outlook.
