We booked a private half day tour from Sandsend to Mulgrave Castle. It was a fantastic experience. Rose is so knowledgeable about the area and really enthusiastic about her work. We had only just met, but I quickly felt as though we were out walking and talking with a friend, rather than a tour guide. Thank you Rose. I'll be sure to book another tour if we are in the area again.

Rose was funny, informative, full of knowledge, humour and fascinating facts about the history of fabulous Whitby. We had perfect weather and walked around the old parts of the town at sunset discussing the stories of magic, folklore and fairytales and were completely captivated. It was the cherry on the cake of our visit to this amazing place. Debbie and Ian.

We booked a guided walking tour of Whitby and was blown away by the knowledge and expertise of the lady who did the walk called Rose. Her vast knowledge of the local areas, from factual historical moments that was experienced through to fairytale events of giants and great mythological legends was outstanding. I wish her the best and so pleased we booked the experience. Could listen to her all day long. A great experience. Highly recommend.

Just finished an unforgettable tour with Rose. It was funny quirky and informative. She wove tales of pagan origins and folklore, Dracula and ghosts. We were entertained, enthralled and educated. Cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Rose

Rose is both passionate and knowledgeable and this tour was the perfect ending to our last full day in Whitby. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely do it again! The tales of magic and witchcraft in St Mary’s churchyard were a definite highlight. Best wishes, Dave and Kim. Cheshire.
