Great views and friendly guide. very reasonably priced at £3. Possibilities to see porpoise and other wildlife. And a great way to see the ruins of the abbey

We have been going on Barry's boat for going on 20 years and would never consider another boat. The history of the boat combined with the lovely staff make this unmissable. Barry the captain is lovely and his sense of humour will make your smile. A much nice more casual boat trip! Highly recommend!

Wow, best £3 spent on any boat ride. Sea was rather choppy on the day we went out, but it made it all the more exciting, the skipper is a real gem. Well worth the money

There are a number of trips available, but this is my pick. £3 for a good trip and you never know... You might be lucky - like me - and see some seals. Breathtaking! A great captain and crew full of information.

My wife and i took a ride on this boat, it a is a simple trip out the heads then turn around and back again. This may sound quick but it is well worthwhile seeing Whitby from the seaward. The boat is compact so all the commentary is very personal. The sea was relatively quiet so I enjoyed the rock... More

We go on the lifeboat multiple times every time we visit whitby. The trips are longer than the other boats and Barry, the captain and whitby legend, always has a laugh and a joke with the passengers sat at the back

This is a wee gem of a ride out into the bay, for the same money as the yellow larger, only in it for as much cash as poss boats, you go out further out and spend longer on the water and have good info from a very friendly crew. Plus this small boat has history added in. The boat... More
