A really great independant museum with some very interesting exhibits displayed in the old style. Lovely helpful staff. The little cafe is really worth a visit too with some beautiful homemade cakes. Really is a must if you are in Whitby.

Walked through the park on a wet day and decided to pop in here . Firstly there was a free to enter art exhibition by local artists . You then pay to go into the museum , which was a revelation so much to see...More

Took the opportunity to visit hear due to the wet forecast. It had been on our list to do due to the fossils (which are incredible) but it offers so much more. At £5 for an adult (inc annual pass) and children free it's good...More

Thank you for your enquiry. I'm afraid only support dogs are allowed in the museum & surrounding Pannett Park.

Yes it i, through the door at the car park. Use the buzzer and they will open the door.
