I visited in February so not many flowers to see, but the staff had obviously been busy tidying all the beds and grassy areas. Plenty of litter bins and seating dotted around, a couple of shelters too. The park is spread over a hillside with...More

The Pannett park in Whitby does have a café in it since the café is in the museum itself. The Park does not have car park the nearest car park from the park is the leisure centre

Family friendly ideas - August with 1 and 4 year old (5 Replies)
Staying in Whitby, just across the road from Pannett Park, for a week in August and researching best places to visit as a family. What are your best suggestions for us, bearing in mind we have an energetic 4 year old boy (who loves pirates, slides and superheroes in that order) and a little girl who'll be 1. Many thanks in advance for your replies.

There is huge park at Scarborough for slides.

We are considering...More

How much do you like walking? There are great scenic walks in either direction along the clifftops from Whitby, to lovely villages like Robin Hoods Bay, etc. See the Cleveland Way National Trail for details. Buses will connect you back to Whitby or on to your destination.
