My husband, 12-year old son, sister-in-law and I went on this walk last night - and what a fantastic time we had. Dr Krank is a true raconteur who draws in his audience and truly leaves you wanting more at the end of the tour. The stories were incredibly interesting and entertaining. If you are visiting Whitby then you really... More

A friend and I spent a weekend in Whitby and decided to take a ghost tour. The weather was quite miserable and not many of us showed up, but Dr. Crank did the tour anyway. Stormy weather set a great mood for the spooky stories but he always ended the stories with a joke to keep things light, which my... More

Fantastic hour spent in the company of Dr Crank...a polished and informative stroll through the less seen parts of this beautiful town. Worth every penny, and would highly recommend. Our daughter is 7, and hasn't stopped talking about the various ghosts and stories we learned about tonight. Wait...did anyone else hear that howl.....?

We really enjoyed the ghost walk. We loved the tales about the various ghost stories. The tour guide was entertaining and it made Christmas Eve this year great fun.

We turned up at the Whale Bones on West Cliff at 7.30pm on Sunday 6th November. It was a dark night and blowing a fair hoolie, and so bitter cold it made you wish you'd got a fisherman's gansie on. We looked in anticipation to see if anyone was there, and out of the shadows walked a gentleman who said,... More

Went tonight and our guide was Claire. We went on the family tour and it was fantastic. We learnt lots and the kids thought it was fantastic. It's hard to keep a nine year old and twelve year old concentration and Claire managed perfectly. Would definitely recommend. Thankyou

We decided to do the ghost walk whilst up on the East Cost for the weekend. Checked the website which specifically listed the date and start time of 7.30 at the Whalebone Arch. 50 + people turned up but the leader was a no-show. Waited 25 minutes then someone rang the number to be told it wasn't happening on Monday... More

Simple sign said meet at the whalebone at 7.30pm. Dr Krank introduced himself and that it was an hour of light entertainment. We haven't stopped chuckling at the tall Tales some as tall as James Cook's tall ships but I don't think we will ever enjoy anything quite as much as this.thank you

We decided to go on a ghost walk whilst visiting Whitby on a Monday evening, there was the choice of the market square one at 8pm or the one near the whale bone arch at 7.30pm so went for the earlier one, after having a drink in the hotel at the top, we joined the crowd just before 7.30 where...
