Visiting the old Pavilion Theatre for the first time with my husband we enjoyed 'September in the Rain', a John Godber play. I have to congratulate all the staff at this lovely old venue... from the lady on the box office, the gentleman in the cafe and the 'usherette' in the theatre... we were met with smiles, warmth and made... Really enjoyed a show featuring Richard Digence on Sunday. I remembered him from years back, and I enjoyed his shows then and thoroughly enjoyed the one on Sunday. Funny and topical.

The concert room at the Pavilion resembles a large concert room in a Working Mens Club. It seats approximately 800-1000 depending on the table layout but as there are no pillars obstructing the view of the stage a good view is not hard to find. Late comers may be left seating around the perimeter edge of the hall with no... More

The pavilion is up from the beach on the ocean coast. It seems to be used for a variety of purposes, and we happen upon a Sunday afternoon free concert. But we really come for coffee and cake - of course! The eats and drinks tend to be of the packaged variety, but we enjoy our Danish pastry and Bakewell... More

Use the cafe regularly following dog walks along the cliffs. Very dog friendly and recently discovered that soya milk is available for drinks which gave it a double thumbs up for my dog and I. Competitively priced with lovely views our to sea.
