The best pub in Whitby, 6 constantly changing real ales and one always a stout or porter too. Those and over a dozen ciders makes it heaven. Ignore the lager drinker below, as the reply says the sign on the door is very clear and...More

We were looking forward to celebrating our friend's birthday at this micro pub. On first appearances it is comparable to other micro pubs that we have visited. However we were not prepared for the sarcasm of the barman and the level of real ale snobbery....More

We were in Whitby on a hot, sunny July weekend and it was noisy everywhere so it was nice to enter a bar where nobody was shouting aloud,it was an oasis of calm with some nice real ales also. Friendly service and conversation ruled.

Nice small place at the train station. Good cask selection. Free WiFi. You can get 1/3 pints but only as part of a flight. Wooden floor and tables. Short review, I had time for a quick half before catching my coach home
