Staff were hilarious, £4 well priced, really good atmosphere with music playing. Choppy the day we went out so I was terrified but not the company’s fault! Would recommend but check the tide first!

Had to go onboard by myself as not suitable for disabled visitors. Reasonable admission charges. Well set up for COVID distancing. Friendly staff.

Decided to give the captain cook experience a go, I was not disappointed, the replica endovour was fantastic and worth the £3.50 for a 25 mins round trip, I would highly recommend this trip.

There were only six of us on board as it was a cold and overcast day. We were warned it was a bit choppy and it certainly was. Crew(2) were very friendly and recorded commentary was very informative. Trip lasted about 25 minutes. On a lovely day this would have been a smooth ride, but at one point my husband fell off his seat it was so rough. We absolutely loved it and what an insight into the lives of those sailors so many years ago.

When we saw this beautiful ship sail past my brother and i agreed to go on it. We THOUGHT it would be around 40-50 pounds to sail on and we agreed on this. When the man told us £3.50 we could NOT believe it....but it was true. You get a 30 minute sail around Whitby bay and the inland sights from out on the North Sea are breathtaking - the lighthouses, Abbey, Pavillion...all from a sea-bound perspective. As you sail they play old sailor songs. It was an absoluate highlight and helpful and friendly guides too. I repeat £3.50, no need to book and the ship sails approximately every 30 minutes. A superb attraction!
