This lovely little gem of a place is so nice. We went for a bottle and you could bring your own nibbles as they were not doing food. The wine is AMAZING, the setting was beautiful.

Heard about this vineyard on social media and saw the awards they had won so booked one of their tours with my Dad for father's day. I couldn't recommend it enough and we had a great morning there. Really easy to book online through the website. We were lucky and had a beautiful weather, starts by Lee taking you over to one of the fields were the wine is grown, Lee was excellent throughout the whole tour, he is so informative about everything to do with his wines and clearly very passionate about what he does. He explained the whole process from the vines right through to the bottling process, it certainly changed my view on what sort of wines I'll be buying. After that side is finished you are invited to the bar area which is lovely. There you get to try a glass of sparkling wine, 2 whites, a rose and red all which were amazing. There was also a great selection of anti pasti style food laid out to eat with the wines. Highly recommend the tour and it is great value for money, I think we were there for just over 3 hours. Also you can buy there wines after if you wish.

I was bought this visit and tour as a birthday present from my wife. As someone who thought they knew a little bit about wine and wine making, within minutes of meeting Lee, the owner, I realised that he will have forgotten more about wine-making than I could ever know. Starting off with a short walk to a vineyard Lee there took us through the year of the vine, starting in November when that year's crop of grapes have been picked, taking us right through to the following year's grape harvest, detailing the various operations required to produce and protect the crop. At each point he compared his process, mainly "handraulic", to using giant machinery that say a large Californian wine producer might use. We then moved into the factory to have the entire production and bottling processes explained to us plus given a potted history of Winbirri Wines. Finally, up to the bar to sample five different wines, each with it's own story to tell. The sheer passion and enthusiasm that Lee has for what he does and what he produces comes across all the time. He does a wonderful, if slightly tongue in cheek, job of explaining why a bottle of Chilean or Aussie wine costing £5.00 in a supermarket can be poorer value for money than an English wine costing three times that. Then its the opportunity to purchase some of his wonderful product. I learnt so much during this visit, I would recommend that anyone with even just a passing interest in wine and/or wine-making could not spend a better four hours than joining one of Lee's visits

Wine produced at this vineyard have been voted best in the world with the 2015 vintage bachus winning best in show in the Decanter international wine competition and the 2018 vintage likely to be even better. The tour includes a visit to the vines and a very informative talk by the vineyard owner Lee who clearly has a passion for his wine producing. Following a tour of the production area it’s time to taste the product with an explanation of the wine types and how they are made. The 3 plus hours tour goes so fast, recommended for wine lovers, just leave the car at home!
