Been here several times, mainly to see work by Douglas Farthing but also others.
Nice gallery with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Just note it is set on Elm Hill a cobbled street so I would imagine awkward for those with limited mobility.

When we visited the gallery they had a special exhibition of works by Anthony George. These are abstract very geometric works which, if I'm honest, are not the type of art I like at all. A rectangle with a square cut out and moved sideways, painted in a different colour, does nothing for me. Interesting to see, none the less, and there is another room with traditional paintings, many of which were, in my opinion, very beautiful. The lady was knowledgeable and interesting to chat to. Well worth a visit even it the artist on display is not painting in a style you can appreciate.
