This is a lovely park set in the heart of Norwich a moment's walk from the city centre. This green gem has plenty of place for ball games, picnics and has a play park area for children as a small hit that offers drinks and snacks in the summer. On a hot day this is perfect to play in or... More

Chapelfield Gardens is an excellent green space inside the City walls and has been for centuries. The earliest 16th century maps show cattle grazing and archers practising. Today there is a path going round the periphery and other paths criss-crossing the lawns. There are many different tress and shrubs and the area is watched over by the Chapelfield Society. The... OK it's nice to find a green space in the middle of a city with swings and things for the grandkids to play on but a park area that has toilets that are shut needs to get its priorities sorted out!!

An oasis of green in the bustling heart of the ancient city, a chance to draw breath and relax for a while without having to leave the attractions of the city centre, conveniently located near to the Chapelfields shopping centre and a stones throw away from the Forum and Norwich market

Chapelfield gardens are so much more than a city centre park. A fair is held there twice a year plus various musical and comedy events. In the spring, the natural display of crocuses are beautiful, and the whole area is popular with youngsters and families alike. During the summer there is often music on the bandstand featuring local band. This... More

Traveling by car from the main road, I found the corner tight as I turned left at the traffic lights before the underground parking. The parking is well lit and spacious. The range of shops is good with plenty of choice for everyone, including many places to eat and have a chat.

This park is absolutely beautiful. Lots of benches to sit at or you can sit on the grass. Lovely little cafe stall in the middle of it which sells drinks and ice creams as well as things like chips. There is also a band stand in the park which is great to sit in when it's a rainy day (providing... More

A pretty varied park for the space that it fills within the city. There's often events like fairs and music on here.
