I attended an outside cinema showing of Dirty Dancing here. It was wonderful being surrounded by so much beautiful greenery while relaxing back with a glass of wine and an old favourite movie.

Smashing place for a breather, but apparently under threat of closure. Mustn't be allowed. Very impressive selection of plants.

Lived in Norwich for 23 years and never knew this place existed. Amazing quirky garden. Well done to the volunteers that put so much hard work into restoring this place. Just hope it will still be open to enjoy for many years to come

The Plantation Garden (or Secret Garden as locals call it) is a place of beauty and magic, which is wonderful to visit at any time of the year. Beautiful gardens, structures, walks, something for everyone, even films at certain times of the year!

Visiting the plantation gardens at a winter Norwich day without expectations was another unforgettable experience of that town. I got there using my online maps of the town. This brought me trough the Chappelfield gardens and near by Saint John the Baptist Cathedral - two...More

This is probably my favourite spot in Norwich. The small fee to get in is well worth it for the beauty that you get to experience in this little slice of heaven right outside the city centre. Perfectly hidden away, Plantation Garden is the greatest...More

I have been around Norwich since before it was rediscovered and have followed the development of the garden over the years. It is an inspirational place bursting with not only plant life but architectural features creatively assigned and a wonderful sense of community.

lovely restored garden, peaceful place to sit and think . Although this is not a massive garden it is unique and is a work in progress. Not the easiest place to find but worth the hunt.

You can park on the main road but parking restrictions apply with times. Sunday is free all day. You could also park at the Roman Catholic Church and visit there too. :)

No, guide dogs only. This is a very child friendly garden and it would be awful to clear up all the dog poop every day! This is a dog poop free garden!!
