I have been around Norwich since before it was rediscovered and have followed the development of the garden over the years. It is an inspirational place bursting with not only plant life but architectural features creatively assigned and a wonderful sense of community.

lovely restored garden, peaceful place to sit and think . Although this is not a massive garden it is unique and is a work in progress. Not the easiest place to find but worth the hunt.

Whenever I am in Norwich on a nice day I try to visit the little Gem. Such a relaxing spot, beautiful view and a nice little walk. To think that this is hidden away in the centre of Norwich. If you fancy a picnic try here, you won't regret it.

I was lucky enough to be taken to the plantation garden by my boyfriend recently. It had been some years since I had last been to the garden but it was lovely to sit in for hours on end. It is strange to think that it is in the middle of a city! It's a shame it closes early (maybe... More

best in summer, when you can settle down with a book on one of the benches, but worth a walk around at any time of the year, as it's quieter when it's cold

Well worth a visit. Honesty box for entry & plant sales. Very tranquil and even in late October there are plants and views of interest. Managed by volunteers who deserve plenty of credit for restoring the garden to its current state.

OK, so even if you are not into visiting gardens, you should still visit this hole in the ground... It's weird, but in a delightful and unexpected way. Allow an hour, and don't be put off by the rain or the time of year. In fact return in the different seasons to experience it all over again. Take you camera,... More

I live not far from this and I've been meaning to visit for several years. The other day they had a musical afternoon in the gardens and I managed to drag myself off the sofa on a sunday afternoon to visit. It's a truly magical feel as you come in from the street to find this hidden grotto like garden.... More
