This beautiful gem is under threat because of subsidence in the area and the closure of its access routes by the owner of the horrible hotels nearby ( see reviews for the Beaches etc operated by MJB Hotels) I do hope that one day the lovely buildings near to this beautiful garden will be returned to their former glory by... Don't waste your time walking to the garden from the town centre as we did as it now permanently closed. It is really sad that the city could not find the wary /resources to keep it. Also, I was very disappointed that every single shop & restaurant is closed on Sunday in Norwich. It is virtually a dead town on... More

THE CLOSURE IS ONLY TEMPORARY. We are waiting for specialist engineers to tell us about the underground structures which could be a concern but we hope not. I am sorry that Nadia had a wasted walk to the Garden on a rather cold day as we have tried to make the closure as well known as possible. I am surprised... More

My friend and I attended an outside cinema showing of The Princess Bride and had a great time. I would also visit here without attending a cinema event, the entire garden is lovely and would be perfect for summer time picnics.

Local property developer/land owner is currently blocking access, it's a pity as the garden is lovely

I attended an outside cinema showing of Dirty Dancing here. It was wonderful being surrounded by so much beautiful greenery while relaxing back with a glass of wine and an old favourite movie.

I've been formulating a list of places to go in Norfolk for a little while now & this was one I'd been excited about for a while. I did want to wait until spring/summer as I thought it'd be beautiful when all the flowers are blooming, but as it's under threat of closure I made it a priority! It's so... More

Smashing place for a breather, but apparently under threat of closure. Mustn't be allowed. Very impressive selection of plants.

Lived in Norwich for 23 years and never knew this place existed. Amazing quirky garden. Well done to the volunteers that put so much hard work into restoring this place. Just hope it will still be open to enjoy for many years to come

The Plantation Garden (or Secret Garden as locals call it) is a place of beauty and magic, which is wonderful to visit at any time of the year. Beautiful gardens, structures, walks, something for everyone, even films at certain times of the year!
