A nice visit, entry fee by donation box £2 suggested. Nice garden to wander in just a main area with seats around the edges, very tranquil.

What a gem! I'd never previously been here but i'd seen it online when looking for a place to do a photoshoot a while back. As part of a surprise date I took my partner here and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice to chill on the gardens and sit by the water feature after walking around the grounds - stunning.

The Plantation Gardens have been a long standing favourite for myself and my family and friends. Perfect for a sunny day or a rainy one, the plantation gardens offer an enchanting glimpse into Victorian gardens. There are various events throughout the summer months that are perfect for families friends and couples. The gardens are free, but there is a donation... More

Pleasant gardens completely marred by our handicapped driver incurrring an outrageous fine whilst remaining in the vehicle in the adjoining hotel carpark for twenty minutes. This is outrageous and they should be totally ashamed. Welcome to Norwich indeed!

Very nice and peaceful when you are too tired of people. We accidentally poped in a vintage style afternoon tea dance party which was very lovely. You can dance or you can hide in the trees and observe dancing people.

This place is magical, like a scene right from Alice in Wonderland. A lovely little sun trap, as its in an old chalk quarry it's set down into the ground like a mini valley and so gets no wind and is almost silent. They were serving tea and homemade cakes on the day we visited (a Sunday), and families were... More

Beautiful gardens hidden away in Norwich. These gardens were fairly recently discovered and renovated to a very high standard recreating as close as possible what they would have originally been like in Victorian times. Exciting for children to explore and safely away from traffic,

Found this by accident, great place to look around. It looks as if it was originally built by an eccentric using whatever was available. And what a great job he made of it.

Small, tucked away, easy to miss (I know somebody from Norwich who has never heard of it)... We made a point of visiting, and absolutely loved it. There was only one other person thewre when we visited, so it felt special and precious. Do go if you can. Just not all at once.

Situated near to the Catholic Cathedral, this sunken Victorian garden is a hidden gem. You would never guess it existed from the road. An idyll of tranquility with an interesting history. Well worth a visit.
