A group of us had afternoon tea. I would definitely return. The building is lovely, steeped in history. The sandwich and cake selection was good. The waiter who served us was helpful and the service was good. An enjoyable afternoon.

This is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast before starting your shopping. Haven’t tried lunch yet, but certainly plan a return visit.

What a treat to take tea and rest the weary walking legs in the old Victorian court house that has been converted into a cafe staffed by the open prisoners, wonderful experience

Wonderful surroundings, nicely decorated for Christmas. Warm welcome but we were put in a side room and forgotten once it had been served. The food was tasty but not a wonderful selection. We'd ordered one gluten free tea and one vegetarian tea which hadn't been...More
