I was expecting good things from the city centre branch of the cafe. Three full English breakfasts and one pancakes with fruit ordered, at £7 each they were small and cooked without care, one and a half button mushrooms, one bacon, one sausage - over cooked, half a slice of toast, half a plain and almost completely uncooked tomato a... I adore this building it is drenched in history and stories of crime, murder and incarceration. You can grab a lovely cuppa or join one of the annual tours to enjoy the tales from long ago that took place within the court room. Enjoy!

Happy to find this cafe with great toilet and baby changing facilities. The women who run it are so friendly & helpful.

Visiting Norwich on Monday thought I would pop in to the Coffee shop in the Guildhall. The name has been changed to Café Britannia but the staff were still as welcoming and helpful as I remember from previous visits. I had a latte nice and strong and a little chat with one of the waitresses, what a treat and to... More

We spend a very interesting evening listening to ghost stories. We were showed round the building the court room and the goal down in the cellar. Glad we were not living in that era.

We love this building! It's constructed mostly of flint and is just beautiful. We always look at it, sit outside and admire it and go inside the various bits. It's just so interesting and historic. We love the crystal shop!

To our surprise we found a little cafe, recently joined to Cafe Britannia. It is absolutely lovely, sitting in the main chambers, decorated well and yet the Judge's chair remains, as do other reminders of the building's previous 'life'. Had we more time we would have spent more time looking at this building. It is located on the edge of... More

Its great to hear of all the changes happening at the Guildhall. Its a wonderful space with such rich history and spaces with have been underused for decades. History Mystery game is an intensely fun game, soon to open an escape room in the old gaol cells. Cafe Britannia is a welcome addition in the centre of norwich to compliment... More
