I grew up in Norwich so know the river well, but when I was young it was transformed by the construction of the river walk. All along are some of the most well known sights but from this viewpoint you see how the river was the whole reason Norwich was here. Watch out for Cow Tower, the mortuary, Bishop Bridge,... More

I often walk this, nearly daily. So much scenery and architecture and a bit of history to absorb. Provides a feeling of escape in nice contrast to a busy city, but very close to the centre. It is easy to plan some loop walks taking in the Cathedral, or as much of the river as you want. Just do it.

Meandering along the river, this walk goes past some fine medieval and post medieval buildings. Also close to nice restaurants, bars and other sights worth seeing. And there is always (a very small) chance of an otter swimming past

Very pleasant walk but made by the visit to the Adam & Eve pub at the end near the Great Hospital. The pub isn't well signposted but worth going to drink in the oldest pub in Norwich.

Riverside walk is pleasant if a little short. Plently of photo taking opportunities and rest breaks on a bunch in various locations.

We had time on our hands and took the walk from one of the bridges, past a pub and down some steps. Although the walk was very nice on a sunny autumn day, walking through gardens past Cow Tower, you can't walk the whole loop, unless you walk along the main road. Nevertheless, we spent a pleasant hour or so... More

I followed this walk from the train station round to St Georges Street, past Pulls Ferry, Bishops Bridge and the Cow Tower, with lovely views of the Cathedral. Lovely walk.
