We started from the railway station and across the bridge. You meander alongside the river with beautiful views of the cathedral, wonderful willows and swans. You come to the Cow tower and a medieval bridge so there is History to learn as well as enjoying peace and quiet so close to the busy city. You can follow the river round... More

The Riverside Walk is a great way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon. Lots of interesting buildings, old warehouses turned into modern apartments, lovely old bridges etc. If you are a photographer there are lots of great photo opportunities, especially on a sunny day, lots of bridge, buildings, Weeping Willows reflecting on the water. From our hotel we had immediate access to the river walk. We used it to access the Cathedral grounds which are beautiful.

The river walks were well laid out with good pathways where we saw pushchairs and wheelchairs using without problem. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy the river. lovely place for a picnic.

Nice way to kill time. Pleasant riverside walk in pleasant city. Interesting to see how life continues to develop along the river with new buildings replacing the old.

The weather recently has been ideal for a walk beside the river, hot sun and some cooling breezes off the water. There are resting places along the route, whether on a seat or sitting on the grass, and several very good pubs serving excellent ales etc. and food so one can time ones journey to suit the day. It is... More

Spent a leisurely Sunday afternoon meandering beside the river with a few attractions on the way, as well as a few pubs/restaurants and the calming flow of the river & families enjoying it. Idyllic

It's one of the most beautiful sides of Norwich. We really enjoyed it. It's really pittoresque and full of restaurants and cafeterias.
