Following from other reviewers, we went for a stroll along part of the riverside walk. It is great contrast to the centre of the city and gives users a chance to see another side to Norwich. I particularly liked the bird house/bug hotel art installation in a tree near Cow Tower

It doesn't take that long, is well signposted, and there are places to sit or stop for food and drink on the walk.

A great route for a short walk, it is easy to follow. Wander along the footpaths or deviate. See the cathedral, Cow tower and more.

Fantastic walk, lots of different tress and plenty of swans and boats to look at. Really nice place to walk your dog. Really gorgeously preserved tower and a great walk for history buffs. lots of nice places to sit and relax. Cant tell it well looked after with great grassy areas and pretty flowers.

This walk, at most two miles, follows the banks of the River Wensum through the City, the path crossing the river from time to time. You can start from either end, at St Crispins Road bridge in the west or the Carrow Road bridge in the east. Highlights along the way are the New Mills Sluice which formerly was a... More

A lovely Sunday evening stroll watching boats and swans meandering along the river was peaceful and interesting. The many information boards gave a good historical perspective and we were able to link up to the cathedral avoiding busy commercial roads.

Lovely walk but just watch out homeless begging. Not very well lit after dark as the trees block the street lighting

Nice relaxing walk by the side of the river. Lots to see both the fishing, kids were bathing at a shallow point and the Cathedral and associated old buildings the other side. Nice and quiet away from all the road noise further up near the station.

We used the Riverside Walk to get from the train station to the cathedral. One striking feature was on old archway which used to be the opening for the river and used by shipping in the medieval area. Well worth taking the time to walk by the river.

A nice walk with riverside pubs and boat trips, Some interesting signs giving some of the history of each property.
