The Norfolk Broads takes you back to Swallows and Amazons books. Every corner has another beautiful memory for you to savour, another beautiful experience awaiting. From miles of reeds, to various waterways, fabulous boats to amazing homes. Many bar/restaurants appear, surprisingly when from the broads you see no homes nearby, but many people have found them by road as well.... More

Just come back from a fantastic 4 day break on The Broads. We hired a 4/6 berth cruiser that was picked up from Norfolk Broads Direct in Wroxham. A welcome pack on arrival, Presecco included! We were celebrating a 50th birthday so I had sent balloons & banners to the reception in the week, the boat was decorated for our... More

Spent 5 days on the broads in total (hired from richardson's) and loved it. The peace and quiet, wildlife and scenery meant the time passed all to quickly! Being able to stop at a nice pub here and there and not having to rush was brilliant!

My first visit to the Broads was at age 25. 4 of us had a week on a cruiser (considering that I had been sea-sick on a holiday in Cornwall). It was absolutely a complete change of life, living on water, travelling at such leisurely speeds, plus the "fun" crossing Bradon Water with the tide against us etc. It was... More

Just come back from a wonderful 4 day break on the broads. We had a 6 berth cruiser that we picked up from Richardson's in Stalham. A truly relaxing and peaceful time.

It was me (adult) and 3 children on this holiday. Hiring a boat and being "driven" by my 12 year old daughter while I listened to the water and watched the birds has left a lasting memory. We all just wanted, and still want, more.

If you as coming to visit Norfolk, going to see the broads is a must. There's no where quite like it anywhere else. I love hear and haven't thought about going on a boat for years so glad I did. You often forget about the amazing places on your doorstep. Hired a boat for 2 hours to have a relaxing... More

I did not realise how beautiful parts of Norfolk are. The little villages you pass through on a boat are wonderful. Life at 4 mph and leaving the rat race behind. Places lime Wroxham and Coltishall are lovely. Potter Heigham and Salhouse broad are charming and relaxing; there is an £8 overnight mooring fee at Salhouse. Broad but well worth... More
