Visited this lovely little shop, tucked away off the A140 on the road to Cromer, for the 3rd time yesterday, on Valentine's Day. It still has the best, most knowledgeable staff, who are polite and solicitous but not intrusive. They advised us on what sort of books our teenager might like. He was skeptical at first but the book they recommended for him, he has not put down yet.
A really friendly place, full of books for kids of all ages, and the staff really know their stuff. Top notch!

What a lovely bookshop. Marilyn the owner had visited our school previously so we were keen to visit. We could never have dreamt it would be so wonderful. The moment you walk through the door you were welcomed with a hot drink and biscuits friendly chatty staff. There was really no rush and could have easily spent the day. We spent a fortune but only because there was such a wonderful selection of books. It’s in the middle of no where but well worth a visit

We loved our visit the NCBC! Snuggled on a sofa exploring new authors (a wealth of guidance, advice and helpful insights if requested).
It’s what every bookshop should be and an utter delight, made extra special with a welcomed cup of tea and giggles of delight as children journey on their next adventure in what ever land the book in their hand is enticing them to.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 📚📚📚📚

Fabulous book shop with just about every children’s book you could want. If they don’t have it, they order it in for the next day. My son found two books he’d been searching for in all the high street bookshops. My daughter also found lots of teaching books for her class in September. A little off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

Beautiful books to explore, authors and readers comments on the wall. Toys for every age to play with while parents, brothers and sisters enjoy the wonderful selection of books. A treasure trove of books, the best selection I have ever seen. You are welcomed with the offer of free tea and coffee and a biscuit. It is hard to leave.
Here is a place begun and run by a woman with a passion for children's books, any books. She is an inspiration to all. No wonder authors visit.
They take books into schools and libraries and 30 years of knowledge about children's books shows itself in every corner of this amazing place. You won't want to leave and any budding children's writer should really visit this Aladdin's Cave of books.
