A nice park. A green lung and splash in a humble city.
Green grass, trees and water.
All that A park needs.
That and benches as well.

I walk my dogs in this park everyday, early mornings are best, when it's busy people can be nervous about my dogs (which is ridiculous because they're the friendliest most well-trained dogs ever). The tennis courts do occasionally have people training dogs to do things they shouldn't be trained to do.

Not going to lie, on a night time, you're best off avoiding the park, especially on a weekend.

This Park was the place of my Summer holidays for many years and has not lost its charm and meaning. Now with a statue of Brian Clough to enhance it and sitting opposite what was the REA CAFE of Chris Rea fame this is well worth a relaxing stroll.

Love going in here to have alaugh with mates and feeding a duck i've named Gloria. I went with my boyfriend and we had a very good date in the park. It was amazing for a picnic and a warm walk to see the pavillion.

Located right beside Dorman's museum and the WW2 monuments, walk through the gates and along through the path you'll find a large wide open field on one side which is sometimes used for festivals, and to the left you'll find a large children's playground with a huge blue climbing frame with ropes and poles to climb on. In the middle of the park you'll see a large fountain, on nice days you'll see it spurting out sparkling water and people throwing in pennies to make a wish, but often the water will just look dirty and the fountain will look old on a dull and cloudy day. On the far end of the park you'll find a large lake where you can feed some ducks and some nice paths for you to go on a quiet walk and enjoy the fresh air. Sometimes there are large fairs here like ones for the asian community or for jobs fairs. You can go for a walk or bike ride, best to go on a sunny day although those are rare in Middlesbrough.

when I first came to Teesside university I found this little gem and its a great walk especially for pogo players as loads of people I know play. But its also great for photos.

A lovely park with lots to see and do although the risk of a £1000 fine for having your dog off the lead in certain areas is a bit of a letdown.

I used to play here when I was very young 5-11. It hasn't changed much! Took our granddaughter for a picnic.

We visited the park recently to see the Middlesbrough Mela, I was brought up being taken to this park when I was a child and this place still holds a soft spot for me. Well maintained and very pleasant to walk around.
