Another year and another panto as this glorious little theatre. I have been going to the pantomimes here for more years than I care to remember and they never fail to amaze. A brilliant production of Jack and the Beanstalk today with a fantastic cast, the best costumes and brilliant theatre staff. Thank you all so do much. xx

The Little Theatre is a great little venue and some big names have topped here over the years, as well as hosting yearly pantomimes there are events on all year round. It is a great sound stage and spring board for up and coming young stars from the Teesside area, the theatre really is one of the best in the North East, it doesn't need to be massive and grandiose to be good, Middlesbrough Little Theatre top of the pops in my opinion..............and I have been to them all in the North and a few in London too

Have performed here throughout my youth and also attended several shows. Believe it's had a bit of a tidy up/refurb (it needed it). Not many people bad mouth such an institution.

It once was known as the little theatre of Middlesbrough but it's the only theatre now that it has outlived the others.
A good programme of events ranging from live music featuring some well known artistes and bands and also included on the rep touring circuit with thrillers mysteries or comedy
It's a nice intimate atmosphere and the acoustics are great if you like live music
Friendly staff and good leg room in the seating areas augmented by a good programme of events make for a great evening.

We recently visited Cinderella at The Middlesborough Theatre and the whole show was brilliant and very entertaining. Buttons was very funny and the ugly sisters especially the young one were superb. What also made it for us is the endless energy the actors and especially the dancers who came out in numerous costumes were very professional! Well done to all!

I found that this theatre was very old and outdated and certainly in need of some refurbishment. It is only a small place that caters for about 600 visitors and you feel really hemmed in when it is busy. The seats are not that comfortable with very little legroom. The Is not much room to move about in when queuing for refreshments, the bar area or the toilets. I found the loos to be dirty and smelly which was not very nice. The stage is easily viewed not matter were you sit which is better than some other local theatres. During hot weather it can get very hot humid and sticky. Obviously the show I went to see was really good with plenty of audience participation.

This panto was fantastic from start to finish all the children enjoyed themselves. I had previously been to see Aladdin at the empire a few days before this and this panto was so much better. Really loved it! Its all about the beans no giants.....

No, it's in a residential area.
Plenty about a mile away on Linthorpe Road. Cheers
What time do the shows end. I’m going to see the George Michael fastlove and would like to know what time it will finish

Pretty good - my wife works with people with physical and mental issues and regularly goes there with people in wheelchairs and she has had no issues. Worth booking seats down stairs and checking with them to get the right seats so that you can sit next to each other.
