This is a one-stop-shop for everything you need for your travel in the city. They sell Oyster cards, Travelcards and bus tickets. You can also check out and purchase tickets for attractions and tours here as well as get free London maps. This should be a first stop for all tourist into the city.

I would like to say thank you to special assistants. They are wonderful people. We are so great full to them. We had to fly to Dublin for the funeral. Just one night hence we were tired I am 80 my partner 90. Those people helped us so much that the words can not express my feelings. Friendly, helpful, hard working people. I hope the airport authorities appreciate them. Thank you Teresa Winch and Joe Fleming

I wish someone else had written about this place so that I would have the knowledge I am imparting now.
You can get a visitor oyster card here for the Tube and all your entertainment ticket needs in one place.
The line was very short, probably because very few people know about it.
I stopped here on the way out of London to get my unused visitor oyster credit back in CASH. Keep the blank oyster card for your next visit.
The staff were very helpful and to the point.
They can be a wealth of information and tickets.
Stop here first before going into London and you can save some money and time.

I went there on Fri with my 2 friends from Chicago who wanted to stay very close to LHR because they were going to be flying back overnight from Tel Aviv and onwards to the USA very early yesterday AM. Their flight was too early for them taking a chance on staying with me, hence their need for o/n accommodation.
The B & B was lovely, but they were given NO INFORMATION whatsoever as to the
r & r's regarding the limit of free travel around the airport. This is a TOURIST INFO. CENTRE - not a Rowton House. This sort of info. should be given freely, as a matter of course. Not a good showing at all.

Hi,
Is this the same as the Tourist information I see on the Heathrow maps? If not, can you tell me which terminal you were in and where it was located? I would prefer to get oyster cards right away for the convenience of getting to London and for the refund at the end of trip.
Thanks,

I'm arriving on a BA flight form NY around 7am, a friend of mine is also arriving from Seattle on BA in the same terminal (5) within minutes. Can I walk to the gate and wait for the person? Some airports the gates are right next to each other, other airports funnel you into customs or other terminals. We want to meet before transferring to terminal 3 for another BA flight. Can I walk to the other gate in terminal 5 or do I have to proceed to a transfer point.

Is this the same as the general information centre? Is there a location in terminal 2?
Thanks

It could be. I know you pass it on the way to get to the Tube before you go down the long passage way.
