We saw this on a hop on hop off bus tour only and noted how different it was from the surrounding buildings consecrated in 1824 and designed by John Nash.

What a lovely place of peace and tranquility. Whilst walking along we stumbled upon this beautiful church, it is very welcoming and when stepping inside you cannot believe the instant feeling of calm. The staff were very welcoming inviting you to walk inside the building and take a seat and allow you to contemplate the inner beauty of the church. The peaceful feeling that this building resonates is instantly noticeable. An ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy London streets.

We spent part of the first day of our most recent stay in London, exploring neighbourhoods of inner London which we had not visited during previous stays in this great city. After taking the tube from Paddington to Oxford Circus, we headed into Marylebone, to explore a few spots there. As we made our way through Langham Place towards B.B.C. Broadcasting House in Portland Place, we came upon All Souls Anglican Church. We found its architecture with its small rounded portico supported by columns and its tall spire supported by more columns to be fascinating. However, the collection of homeless people bedded down in the portico and the presence of police officers attending to some dispute indicated to us that it was a good idea to give the immediate area around the church, a wide berth. Consequently, we did not have to opportunity to view the interior of this lovely small church. Well worth a quick look if you happen to in the vicinity!
