The area
Neighborhood: St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
How to get there

Dreadful online experience. I strongly advise people to avoid placing orders with this company at present. You may well be out of pocket. I was a long-standing customer of SAB for some years now. Going back to when I used to visit their shop at the top of St. James Street, London many moons ago. Opposite where the Beretta Gallery stands. Sadly I cannot see oneself returning as a customer. I had in the past a year or two ago experienced a problem with an umbrella order placed with them online where again the level of communication and service let them down but I accepted their excuses at the time. Moving forward and wishing to support British based businesses I wished to return as a customer as I always believe in second chances. However due to COVID restrictions and the inability to visit the London shop I placed an order online for a gift. Unfortunately they were unable to fulfill the order as stated on the webpage. Due to this I had to cancel the order. I am still awaiting the refund since cancelling at the beginning of January. Email correspondence from the company suggests that I am not the only one unhappy at present and awaiting a refund. Despite sending various polite email correspondences there is direct contact number available for web orders/returns/refunds team. Bizarre for a company that tries to pride itself on Bespoke customer service. The only contact I have had is via email and one telephone call to the shop when my emails were not responded to and ignored. A further Polite Request sent to make a complaint to the management team about the level of customer service and lack of refund ignored. I am not one who would normally launder in public or online but feel it imperative to inform other consumers so they don’t end up being in the position I am. As it stands this morning I am still over £1200 out of pocket! No one from Management has bothered to contact me and the lack of response from the Accounts Adminstator implies they don’t give a damn. In fairness one member of staff at the London shop has tried to address my problem with Management and Accounts but to no avail.
Please be aware before you part with your money.

We have been customers of Swaine Adeney Brigg for many years. Unfortunately, they relocated their shop near The Liberty to this smaller shop. Luggage or a briefcase or a portfolio from here is a great investment in quality leather. We love to give these items as gifts for graduation.

If you are in the market for a high-end leather gift or umbrella that will be cherished for many years, Swaine Adeney Brigg is for you. Located in the remarkable Piccadilly Arcade on Jermyn Street, the shop offers some of the finest leather goods and umbrellas in the world. Service is efficient, friendly and the staff will happily help customers work through a selection. The shop will also gladly ship purchases to the U.S. via express mail.
