Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.

We went hear last weekend to watch A United Kingdom, which as a drama has the odd poignant, quiet moments. Sadly, this was interrupted by base noise from another screen showing something action fuelled. Bit of shame really.
Cinema itself is comfortable and welcoming.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was cold inside. Nearly £13 per person...for a fairly basic cinema. Good location . Outside Definately needs some attention if they want to charge West end prices...

An older rather run down cinema especially for the area. Quite well worn. Could do with updating. Not clear whether disabled friendly. Step at front door. Lots of stairs and no obvious lift. Short on staff

Came here tonight to watch Fences and was served by an Asian woman who really couldn't care less and clearly was brought up with no manners. She was Chinese with eyebrows drawn on as thick as her. At least the kind gentleman upstairs who checks the tickets was a plus ! Cinema is a little shabby. Not returning again !

Don't go in expecting a plush, new cinema. It's older, smaller than others I've been to but it was comfortable enough although there could have been a bit more leg room. The staff were lovely. The toilets were clean. The auditorium was clean.
It was a bit odd however, when the film was about to start and a man got up from his seat to flick a switch to turn the lights off as you would at home!

This cinema is like stepping back in time a bit. Lovely experience compared to some of the massive places around Leicester Square. Great value tickets and always a nice experience.
