About
An all-weather space where the whole family can enjoy some healthy, action-packed fun. No climbing experience is necessary, full training is given and equipment provided, and with over 20 individual and multi-climber wall challenges of varying design and difficulty, your agility and your courage will be tested in different ways! For those climbers wanting the extra challenge, we have our famous special attractions, the DropSlide and the Stairway to Heaven.
An ideal venue for children's parties, school trips, youth club trips, hen parties, 'big' birthdays, corporate events, private events, location filming and more.

I organised my daughter 6 th birthday party there and invited 12 children age 5 years old . We started 15 minutes late , thé area was very dark with blue light and badly supervised .
The children were left alone with little or no help , only one person was helping .
Some of the children were let out of the climbing area without informing me the host . During my party there was another party for older children the area is very small . Children fell disorientated with no help and being surrounded by another group of older boys ?
Poorly stuffed and poorly managed .
I hired bus to serve the cake , 45 minutes cost £180 . The bus is cramped area smelled of gasoline ( it had to be heated up ) thé tables were poor some metal construction covered with plastic .
There was nobody serving at the cafe upstairs and also you were not able to open a pack of crisp in the waiting area ?
Overall awful experience . Please avoid . I’d give zero to this place .

The adults only session was great. The staff were incredibly quick/concise with their pre-setup and attentive throughout the hour when needed. It was a Tuesday evening which was quiet with only 6 people there so no waiting around to use the many different climbing walls. Had great fun and would definitely come back.

We took my daughter and her friend, for their first experience of climbing and they loved it. Clip ‘n Climb is well set up, great climbing walls of different skill levels, colourfully decorated, comfortable seating areas both high up (the cafe) and low down (sofas) to observe from.
Bailey, one of the climbing instructors took great care of the girls and made it fun for them, encouraging them to over come their fears. I felt if the place had two Baileys it would have been a much better experience, as the girls did quite a bit of waiting to be un-clipped and taken to different sections. This was in part to do with the other instructor not being at all forth coming with help. It was quite frustrating to watch them standing just waiting for the fun to continue and obviously from our perspective the time we paid for just slipping away.
All in all a positive experience, just please have more helpful instructors available.

Poor organisation. An excruciating 30 minute disorganised wait to put on harnesses, with undisciplined screeching children, in a small room absolutely suitable for spreading covid. Then another 5 minute briefing on the climbing area itself, leaving 55 'climbing' minutes out of your one and a half hour slot. I timed how long my son was actually climbing, and how long waiting to get on a climb. - worked out half and half.!! To be fair, he did enjoy the experience, and as long as you are aware that you only get about half an hour actually on the walls, but that is hidden in their terms and conditions.....

We held our 8year old daughters birthday party here with 13 children and also used the Party Bus. The staff did a great job and couldn’t be more helpful. The turnaround time is short to get into the bus but the team try to let you in as early as possible. They couldn’t have done more for us. The kids had a great time and the recommended Pizza place was excellent ! Thanks

I booked this for my partners birthday, it stuck out to me as it want the conventional rock climbing plain walls I liked the colours and theme going on.
We were pleasantly surprised to get there and be the only ones there so we had all the walls to ourselves.
We loved the fact that there were walls we could compete against each other on and that it’s inclusive for beginners to experts.
The staff were great and on hand if we needed them, the gentleman who did the instruction pretty much stuck around with us as we were the only
People there and gave us pointers on some of the harder walls.
All in all it was a really fun and affordable experience :)

Really really unimpressed. I climb with my 3 children regularly at Tonbridge Clip and Climb always enjoying the experience where the staff are fantastic. So I recommended Chelsea to a friend of mine for his twin 6 year olds.
The staff were so slack here that the girls had to frequently clip themselves on to the wires which is contrary to health and safety rules. We frequently had to call the staff’s attention to get them to help the girls. We even went to try to help the girls but then got told off for being non-climbers in the climbing area. We watched the staff walk past the girls several times even when the girls were struggling with the safety wires. So sadly it was left to another adult climber to help them the majority of the time.
The girls still had fun but I was appalled by the apathy of the staff and will definitely not be returning to Chelsea.

Why oh why have they refurbished it?! It’s much smaller, no leap of faith or stairway to heaven. It’s half the size it used to be. My 10 and 12 year olds were massively disappointed. We won’t be coming back.

We were so sorry to read this. We don't have the Leap of Faith or Stairway anymore, but we have introduced a new traverse wall and monkey bars area. We didn't refurbish, we moved premises. Your children left positive feedback on their comment cards but we're sorry we didn't win you over too.

Held my daughters 7th Birthday party here on Saturday with her friends and hired the party bus. Staff couldnt do more for us! So well organised and having the team there to help the kids clip on to the walls made the parents feel at ease so they could relax. Big shout out to Darcy who was very caring and kind and ensured to let me know when we could set up in the bus for the kids cake and snacks. I brought decorations with me but didn't need them as the bus had everything already set up! Although it is pricey I couldnt have asked for more. Great place to hold a party "with ease". My daughter had a great birthday. Thanks to all at Clip n Climb Chelsea for all your help!
