About
Clip ‘N Climb Chelsea is an indoor climbing venue like no other in London, which has been drawing record crowds since its opening in March 2014. Offering an all-weather space where adults and kids can enjoy some healthy, action-packed fun, there are 20 individual and multi climber wall challenges of varying design and difficulty to test agility and courage in different ways! Plus there are 3 special attractions – the infamous Vertical Drop Slide, Leap of Faith and Stairway to Heaven! No climbing experience is necessary, full training is given and equipment provided; members of staff clip climbers onto walls with carabiners and automatic belay devices take in the slack as you climb and then lower you gently to the ground. Any non-climbers can enjoy watching the activities from a balcony overlooking the arena, or relax in The Gallery Cafe and enjoy something delicious to eat or drink. Available to hire for parties, corporate events and school sessions.

Disappointed
Sep 2021
Poor organisation. An excruciating 30 minute disorganised wait to put on harnesses, with undisciplined screeching children, in a small room absolutely suitable for spreading covid. Then another 5 minute briefing on the climbing area itself, leaving 55 'climbing' minutes out of your one and a half hour slot. I timed how long my son was actually climbing, and how long waiting to get on a climb. - worked out half and half.!! To be fair, he did enjoy the experience, and as long as you are aware that you only get about half an hour actually on the walls, but that is hidden in their terms and conditions.....

Go and enjoy

So I would definitely say it’s worth a visit but would I go again probably not.
The kids had fun but there was extra activities outside the cost of the tickets which was about £5 each person for two turns (very expensive) the climbing is only for 1 hour but u book in slots of of 1.5 hrs so do not worry if ur running late as there is a 30 min waiting time / briefing .

Exceeded expectations

The adults only session was great. The staff were incredibly quick/concise with their pre-setup and attentive throughout the hour when needed. It was a Tuesday evening which was quiet with only 6 people there so no waiting around to use the many different climbing walls. Had great fun and would definitely come back.

Fantastic climbing but venue is less than spacious for those waiting around
Feb 2020
We visited Clip n Climb during February 2020 Half Term and it was extremely busy. Nevertheless, there is relatively enough space in the upstairs viewing section and cafe to wait for your session when you arrive early or whilst your climbers are enjoying themselves.

A family of five, two adults and three children - this was the first time we visited this venue having searched for it on the internet. It is slightly more pricey than other climbing facilities but then again this is Chelsea. The surrounding area to the venue doesn't offer anywhere to eat, so it is useful to eat just before. There are many restaurants in the town centre literally 10-15 mins away on bus from the venue.

We arrived early thinking we would eat before, but having travelled by bus ended up grabbing something small from the cafe instead when there was nothing in the local area. The cafe serves hot and cold beverages ranging from £3.50 for a hot drink and around £5 for a milkshake. Cakes and cookies average from £2.00 to £3.50 and toasties are £5.00. Nice but extremely pricey for what it is. Staff are attentive and polite.

The Clip and climb experience is great, my kids absolutely loved it and despite it being busy (booked out) there was plenty of climbing walls for everyone to get a turn, I would say a minute or two is what the average time was for everyone to wait for a turn.

The atmosphere is great, good music, colourful and spacious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting. My only critic is that the facility isn't as spacious for those waiting around, especially if you have toddlers with you. They would get quite bored for a 1.5 hour wait (per session) and the stairs just beside the viewing area can also be quite dangerous.

It was very packed when we went on a Sunday as 8 adults. Shame they dont have an adult session on a Sunday.

The team were absolutely professional and attentive throughout the session.

The actual time on the mat is not 90 mins, more like 60/50 mins.

The locker facilities very poor and small. There was no where for us to stand while using the lockers and the changing room were full of kids with their parents.

The actual climbing facilities were fun and entertaining. I would not do another session with all the kids.

Very slow start
Jan 2020 • Family
Advertised as an hour and a half slot / the first thirty mi utes was a very excruciating wait while one attendant took a register of lots of W cities children - many of whom didn’t realise the booking was their parents name - then checked the harnesses of over 30 children. Not sure why they dont put more staff on the briefing and harness fitting to speed the process up

Once they get going the children loved it

Amazing fun!
Dec 2019
This activity was so much fun! Visited 4th December with our 2 who are 14 and 12. They had the best time at Clip n Climb. The climbs were challenging but they loved them and Hannah was with them throughout. Cannot praise Hannah enough! She was friendly, helpful, very encouraging and such an asset to this activity. They loved the drop slide and leap of faith and spent a great fun filled hour thoroughly enjoying themselves. Great viewing gallery for the adults and the coffee was good too! Highly recommend.

Scary. Jail is nicer.

You need to fire that mental patient Elijah. He shouldn't be near children. Power tripping is an understatement. Horrible to our entire birthday party. It was like these 6 year olds were at detention camp in Guantanamo, not a little girls party. Mucked around listening to the sound of his own meek voice for over 30 mins giving the saftey instructions to children he knew were regulars. Kept telling a super small and quiet group of little girls "I need absolute silence or you're not going in there" they weren't even acting up!? All the mothers were looking at one another, one little girls started crying and said she was scared. Yelled "Do I need to separate you two!?" To 2 little girls holding hands silently because he made everyone sit up straight. Lunatic. Honestly that guy needs an assessment. You'd be crazy to keep him on. Screw lose.

Great activity for anyone!

A fabulous activity for young or old! The staff were friendly and informative. They are willing to help you as much as you like or take a step back and leave you to it. I felt very safe and reassured. The atmosphere and music was great. You have to pay extra if you want to do the leap of faith, the drop slide but we were not fussed on these things.
Would definitely reccomend!
