Typically British is a new way of discovering London - by becoming a Londoner for a day! Typically British is not a conventional tour of the city - it's a cultural experience! We are a group of life enthusiasts with one simple goal – putting you in the shoes of a local. Unlike other walking tours in the capital, we are giving you a first-hand experience of the British lifestyle and culture, from the local cuisine and secret locations to the most typical everyday expressions! Everyday walking tours are fun - but they're just half the fun. With Typically British we are taking a new approach on traditional walking tours to let you experience the British culture first-hand by becoming a real Londoner for a day. With more than 1000 years of British history and tradition packed into 2 hours with your local tour guide and a small group of traveling enthusiasts, you will explore some hidden gems of the city, learn about the local history and tradition, enjoy the traditional British cuisine alongside your favourite local drinks and most importantly - have a lot of fun doing it! We designed our tours as a "guidebook" to London life and culture. Ever thought if the British stereotypes are true? Now you have a chance to experience them for yourself. Join one of our specially prepared tours that show a segment of the British lifestyle or choose the bundle, for the full British experience!

Spoiler alert-at the end of the tour we got a little pin badge saying:I'm a little bit typically British. I actually felt like I was! I did the typically British things, even spoke like a Brit! Completely rad approach. The two tour guides were cracking jokes all the time! Definitely was my moneys' worth. A week earlier I was in Paris, wish I had the same tour.

I don't consider myself being a typical tourist (I like to explore things on my own) but the premise of this trip sounded promising. We were guided by two tour guides that kept us entertained the whiles two hours. I never realised there are so many stories behind London. I didn't expect much from lunch (being French I'm quite picky) but it was nice as well.

This tour was lots of fun! A great way to get to know the history of London, meet new people and eat! We started off at St Pauls with a "typically british lunch" as they call it, moved over to an old gin palace and ended the tour practising our newly acquired knowledge of London slang with a pint of ale. Overall a great experience, you can't go wrong.

My friends and I joined the tour last minute and was very enjoyable. It is great introduction to London's past and present, with a lot of humor and great stories! The price also included lunch that offered a great selection of local food!

As I’ve moved to London, I wanted to try a tour that would be suitable for a tourist. After a bit of research, recommendations from friends and my budget, I’ve decided to try Typically British Lunch Tour. I was happy to finally try fish and chips, which I loved. Cottage pie on the other hand is definitely not my cup of tea. I was also pleasantly surprised how good sausage and mash taste like. But it was not just about the food. Tourist guide gave us a great inside into local history of St. Paul’s area of London, made us laugh with British humour, told us fun facts… We end the tour in one of the oldest pubs in London, where I’ve decided to try traditional ale - and I loved it! I recommend this tour to all tourists and foreigners living in London who don’t know too much about London and traditional British food.
