This young woman is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and so much fun to share time with. We only had 2 days with her but can't wait to visit again and see London through Alex's eyes. One day found us in Greenwich and we got to do the touristy thing of putting one foot in each hemisphere. Alex found us a hidden local market to visit first, then a tunnel with a Victorian bowling alley....she bowled a strike! The entire day was filled with hidden treasures she introduced us to. Next trip out with her was to visit Henry VIII at Hampton Court. If you like history don't miss this palace and always take Alex! There could be no finer London guide than Alex. We ended the day in a hidden church, St. Bartholomew's, that's been in continuous use since the 1100's. Damien Hirst has a remarkable sculpture there of the Saint holding his skin. Another Alex gem, as we came to call all the treasures she shared with us.

We have just returned from the UK, and had a wonderful 5 days in London. We hired a Blue Badge Guide because of their knowledge and ability to guide inside most sights without waiting for scheduled tours. Traveling can be very stressful, trying to coordinate everything! Konrad made everything so easy, while maximizing our time and experiences. He began by arranging a driver to pick us up at Heathrow Airport and take us to nearby Windsor Castle ( a great time saver). Our driver waited with our luggage while we saw Windsor Castle...Wow! He then drove us to our rented flat, steps from Holland Park Tube station. From here Konrad met us at our flat and took over. With great organization ...and prepaid travel Oyster Cards he led us easily (for us!) on the tube, buses and trains. We expected to be shown London with knowledge, but his organizational skills and logistics really allowed us to see the maximum amount in the minimum of time. We had Konrad for 3 full days and 2 half days and it was perfect! We really SAW And felt, and lived London! Best of all was how warm and personable and fun Konrad was. He knew where the good pubs and eats were!! Having a guide just makes sense to me to see the most sights in the easiest way possible. Your time is so valuable when you travel and Konrad maximized ours with reasonable fees and time saving planning and information. Oh yes, he also arranged for a driver to take us to our train for Edinburgh. Thank you Konrad for taking the stress out of seeing London-plus learning so much, while having so much fun. Happy travels
