I just paid this museum a short visit as I was passing, but would be worth a longer stay. Lots of detailed local history in several rooms over 2 floors, housed in an attractive building.

Took a group of 14 to visit the Museum and Park, most for the first time. Everyone was impressed with this special and mostly little known treasure full of history and contemporary interest. Two said they had revised their view of Tottenham and would come...More

I have passed by this location many times but never thought it had much to offer. Boy was I wrong. I don't tend to be a museum person but I was overwhelmed by the contents, so much so, for reasons I can't explain, I did...More

The museum is not big but it is an excellent way to spend an hour. It covers mostly local history but I found the story about lady Constantia quite fascinating. It is said that she jumped off the balcony an haunts the castle to date,...More

We were directed to Bruce Castle Museum by the library, hoping to find information about some of the iconic housing estates in Haringey (which we did). It was a great find: lots of info about life in Haringey during the wars, Roman finds, South's pottery,...More

Interesting displays and books. The museum is in a nice large park. Have an association with Tottenham /Harringay so it was good to have a look at various photos and artefacts from the past. The museum isn't very interactive but there are dressing up things...More

Popped into here today. The exhibits could be arranged chronologically better but I still enjoyed browsing the panels and glass cases. Lots of local history mementos on display in the first room that you walk into. The castle's history was laid out in another room,...More

Bruce Castle Museum approached via Bruce Grove is like walking back through time. Bruce Castle set in its park provides a glimpse of Tottenham when it was more rural with wealth out of town houses before the coming of the railway. All Hallows Church and...More
