Neighborhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

If you walk into the Soho area of the West End in London in the late evening then you will not be able to ignore the dazzling lights everywhere. Some adult only areas here in lights however there are more very trendy restaurants and interesting eateries here. Nice to just stroll through Soho and enjoy all the lights and sights. Best underground station is Leicester Square or Covent Gardens station.

London is a tough market to thrive in. I went to lights of Soho, as part of a birthday celebration. The cocktails and service were excellent and it has all the cool you would expect of London. The venue was again 'cool' without trying to be. I believe this is again something you find in London like nowhere else. I would say the toilets let them down as they are also a storage unit.

My friend was recommending to visit this bar and I was informed by him, that after a certain time it does only allow members, however I did not expect behaviour like we seen.

Slightly after 6PM this Thursday we were passing by and saw this bar after work so as I approached the door, the black gent who was escorting people out was standing in between, all I said was:

" Excuse me , can we pop in for a drink or is it members only evening now?"

He had the nerve to look into us , roll the eyes and shut the door in our faces saying '' yeah'' just like that. Get some manners and respect for the place you work , as I would never visit a bar with staff having no clue how to behave!!!!

Unfortunately the venue was closed when we arrived. Staff hadn't updated the voicemail or website so we wasted time and money venturing over. I had a stressful morning at hospital and was looking forward to a nice activity. As such, I was naturally upset and emailed the venue suggesting that the lack of communication was 'thoughtless and low caliber'. I received an email response fromJonny Grant which was a personal attack on me. I was stunned by his vicious nature. Naturally I won't be visiting the gallery.

Check you receipt before you pay. They add a 12.5% service charge to your bill EVEN if you go to the bar and buy a drink. The excuse I was given that "it gets added automatically" I'm sorry but if this is a fault in the system then fix it. Why aren't you telling people this? Or at least present the bill to the customer before you charge the card. And watch them when they pour your drinks too. Passing off drinks without alcohol and charging you full price. Never again!!!!! Go to the pub next-door x

Very average and below par art. Not sure why it's a member's bar. Music was very predictable and staff were obsessed with taking your drink before you'd finished it.

Worst of all were the majority of people there who all sounded and acted liked they'd just come from Made in Chelsea. Better off going to the pub next door.

I happened to be in London in December and was blown away by the beautiful Christmas lights all around Oxford St, Bond St and Soho. It was very festive and certainly brought on the Christmas cheer! Love the different themes along different streets and certainly would look forward to the next one.

Popped in here after lunch and definitely worth a look!! Not a huge venue, but crammed with neon signs and artwork. Took us 10 min to walk round and we could've stayed for a cocktailif we'd had time!
